If I could give zero stars I would! I came in from out of town to visit my family for my nephews graduation. My nephew wanted to eat here because he said the burgers are awesome. When we first walked in, it was as hot inside as it was outside (at least 90). When asked if they could turn up the air, my sister was snapped at by an older lady saying one of the ac's was out and the other was trying to keep up and it was hard for it to cool the whole place. We said ok no problem we were just wondering. Turns out the lady who snapped at us about the AC was the owner and we found that out when she came to the table because we waited for over an hour for 3 things of chicken tender baskets with fries. We were there in a big party (about 12 of us) and figured it would take a bit of time to make 9 burger baskets and 3 chicken tender baskets. Well, all of us with burgers had our food and ate it all before the chicken tender baskets even came out...without their fries. They said one of the fryers pilot light went out and they had to relight it before they can make the chicken tenders, and they told us this AFTER they brought out all of the burgers. They said it would be a few minutes for the chicken, well everyone with burgers were finished at least 5-10 mins before they brought out the chicken tenders, then proceeded to tell us it would be a few more minutes for the fries. We had enough at this point and asked to see the manager. The owner came over and said in a snippy tone, who over here wanted to see me? My mom said she had enough and asked her to take the chicken off the bill because she shouldn't have to wait that long for chicken tenders. After multiple times cutting my mom off when she was trying to speak, my sisters spoke up and said they come there a lot and will never come back if this was how she was going to speak to our mother. My sister asked her a question and she said she was not going to sit there and argue with them (they were not arguing, simply asking a question). After being completely disrespected and with horrible service and mannerism from someone, there is NO WAY I would ever recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere, this place was...
Read moreThese people will not serve you right unless you are a local from here you get served first as well as they allow their regulars to harass non locals and will defend them before they defend you. Don’t ever feel safe at this restaurant poor service bc we waited 20 minutes just for waters and we were told to leave bc a local was harassing my husband instead of telling him to leave they made us leave and said they didn’t want any problems when the problems were sitting right at that bar. Every single man at the bar was willing and ready to fight anyone who wasn’t familiar there. Worse place ever. I’ll be constantly be reviewing them bc this is not my only awful experience. If you aren’t a local woman, and you go there alone order for pickup. Do not stay long. There is always a drunk pervert waiting to try and take you home. Don’t stick around! Bad place...
Read moreBarney's is not a place for simply a drink or bite to eat, but rather it is an experience that you will compare all others against!! Once you enter the establishment, the aura takes you back to a place in time where tales of the 18-point buck and 28 inch bass fish are shared over a frosty can of Buscchhhhhh Light. The decor whispers "Memories. Oh those precious memoriessss..." in your ear. The bar maid floats between story teller, hydration dispenser, and resident expert on all things local gossip. She regales you in stories of local folklore who settled the town and claims rights to certain parts of town. She only pauses to ensure you are properly cared for and have a tasty beverage or award winning burger at your finger tips. Barney's is not a restaurant, bar, or pub. It is an experience...... one that will live on...
