Stopped in from out of town based on reviews.. First impression was the young lady working the counter, she was amazing. Super friendly, seemed like she actually liked being there and was not just interested in taking my order and getting me out of there. What a pleasant surprise this was; customer service at it's best. Hats off to whoever raised her, they did a fantastic job. Next up the pizzas, we got 2 ten inch pies, figured 1 for each of us. First mistake, these things were HEAVY and loaded with toppings, and had a substantial crust, waaaaay too much for us to finish. We made it close to halfway, guess we have leftovers today. We got the Brick and our take on a Hawaiian, both were vert good, ingredients tasted fresh, crust was cooked just right with a slight char, there was A LOT of cheese, maybe a bit too much for my wifes liking. Next time will ask for light cheese, but I know most people like a lot of cheese, just putting it out there. Overall, this place is SOLID, and I'm glad we went. Prices were fair too.. CARRYOUT only. Quoted 30 minutes, went back in 35 and it was ready....

I purchased a pizza from Steve’s pizza in Battle Creek. When I went to pick it up they informed me that they had given my pizza to another customer with the same last name. I heard someone talking in the back of the shop saying that they would give the customer that had my pizza they’re actual pizza for no extra cost. I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for my pizza, and was never offered a discount or an apology. I had a feeling that they would rush my pizza through, I hate undercooked pizzas, so I was sure to look at it. When the clerk brought my pizza, they opened it up and showed it to me. The cheese was not brown it was pure white, I asked them if they could put it in the oven and cook it a little longer. They replied that they could but it may ruin the pizza. So I told them I would take it. On my way home I called my wife to turn the oven on to 450° And we cooked the pizza the rest of the way ourselves. No problem. Great way to lose customers...

After all of these years, Steve's Pizza is still my favorite pizza place...EVER. They are located just down the road from my in-laws and it's the one thing I look forward to every time we go to visit. The pizzas come jam-packed with toppings and cheese and the pizza is actually HEAVY when you carry it out.

My go-to is a Pepperoni, Sausage, and Bacon pizza with cheese bread. The sausage has a little bit of a kick adding more flavor than the already is to the awesome pizza. The cheese bread is dripping with gooey cheese with a garlic seasoning that will have you missing it the moment it is gone.

The staff has always been friendly when going in for pick-up. There is no inside seating - take-out only. Be sure to allow a few extra minutes for your pizza to be made - it's not a "hot and ready".

Their signature is THE BRICK. Bring your muscles, this pizza's...

Drove into Battle Creek for some errands and stopped into Steve's Pizza to take back to Lansing, MI (about 50 minutes away). The crust TRULY is divine and the pizza had the right proportion of toppings for a 16 inch, 12-slice pie. They even wrapped the pizza box in foil so that the pizza stayed warm on the drive back home. Friendly staff and great customer service. And, yes, Dalton is a sweetheart... The staff really are wonderful here. Word of note: the Italian sausage has a bit of a heat kick. I actually love it. My husband says it a tad bit much for him, but still tasty.

I haven't had Steve's pizza in 30+ years. Mostly because I haven't lived in the area for quite some time. Because of the reviews, I thought we'd try the Brick. It weighed about 10 lbs. It was very good. There were 3 of us and a 14 inch pie. Each of us could only eat 1 slice. That left 2/3 of pie. We all agreed that although it was VERY good, less is more, and we'll just order the pepperoni next time.
