It’s so nice have a burger joint in town now! It’s a little place that is super clean and homey. The staff was friendly and easy to chat with. The prices were very reasonable and affordable. I was shocked that our order was completed within six minutes! I got the the jalapeño burger. It was good but I think it could be better if the jalapeños were grilled/sautéed instead of pickled. Maybe even put some cheese on next time—which I can do with their add ons. Also thought the patty was a bit flat but surprisingly I preferred it that way instead of a thick patty. If the quarter pound patty isn’t enough, you can always add an additional patty which they offer on their add ons. However for me it was enough! I’m full and happy instead of stuff and miserable! My fiancé got the bacon cheese burger and was pleased with it. We can’t wait to come back! I hope this place continues to succeed...

Let me just say… Pookie’s seriously blew me away. I wasn’t expecting much, but this burger? Easily one of the BEST I’ve had in a long time. It was juicy, flavorful, and made just right—like they actually care about what they’re serving. The bun was fresh, the toppings were crisp, and every bite just hit the spot.On top of that, the place is really clean, inviting, and well-kept. It has this laid-back, friendly vibe that makes you feel comfortable the minute you walk in. You can tell the owners put effort into both the food and the space.Customer service was great too—friendly, patient, and attentive without being overbearing. Portions are crap and food is nontypical! I have been needing to say something but kept giving the benefit of the doubt. Got a chilli dog basket that was the special and was given two small hot dogs with sloppy joe mix on them?! Got meatloaf another day for special not knowing they would cover it in cold fresh ketchup upon serving it!? Went with a buddy and he got a CB and I got the special which was spaghetti which was good, but after we ordered a man came in and ordered the special followed by a group of 2 who got a CB and the special. The 3 latter were served well before we got ours with a apology acknowledging they screwed us! This ALL I looked past until today when I was given 6 onion rings and a CB mayo and pickles only with the drink that is included for $14 and some change! A dang CB basket for $14+ this is robbery!
