Fiddler's Elbow Country Club — Restaurant in Bedminster Township

Worst dining experience that I can remember in the past several years. We were looking for a simple pub to grab a burger and this place seemed to hit the marks on paper but failed to deliver across the board. After a 20 minute wait after being seated the manager brought us water and was mildly apologetic about the service. A short time later the server finally approached our table for drink orders but didn’t ask if we wanted any food. Upon returning she brought two of my friends the wrong drinks (coors light instead of regular coors banquet) and again didn’t ask if we wanted to put in any food orders again. Some time later she came back and finally asked if we wanted food, I ordered a garlic burger as did one of my friends and the other ordered a patty melt special but didn’t ask how we wanted them cooked. We were visibly frustrated and the server made some attempt to apologize a few minutes later and said it had been busy earlier but at the time we sat down there were only 6 other tables. We finally got our food around an hour and twenty minutes after we originally sat only to further disappointment. The garlic burgers tasted OK but were cooked medium well and were not garlicky whatsoever, they did have the right toppings tho. My friend with the patty melt was a different story altogether. The bread was un-toasted making it very difficult to eat and by the time he was halfway through it he noticed two separate hairs on his plate under where the melt had been sitting. This was not surprising I suppose as none of the kitchen staff visible in the open kitchen were wearing hats or hairnets. This left a bad taste in everyones mouth. I'll I can say is WOW. My name is Dave, and I'm the owner of Afino Entertainment. I recently visited Fiddler's Elbow Country Club to provide entertainment services for my clients' Sweet 16. From the minute I arrived at the location, every staff member was incredibly polite, friendly, and inviting. We pulled up to the clubhouse, and I was stunned by the immaculate architecture. This country club is above all others! The banquet hall manager was incredibly helpful, friendly and fun to be around. I always know when I meet such a staff, that the party will go well because they already have a great, positive attitude.

The room itself is GORGEOUS. From the decor, to the built in sound system, to the built in dance floor lighting, the wall mounted TV's and the performance stage, this venue hasn't forgotten a single detail. I highly recommend this location to ANY client looking to book their private event, whether it be your Wedding, Sweet 16, Corporate Event, or any event for that matter. You won't be disappointed at all by Fiddler's Elbow Country Club. I can't wait to come back. Thank you!

After having the opportunity to do some background acting at Fiddler’s Elbow for Happy Gilmore 2 several months ago, playing here instantly shot to the top of my bucket list. I recently had the privilege of playing the Meadow Course, and from the moment I arrived, everything about the experience was phenomenal. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, the pro shop was fully stocked with top-tier gear, and the entire club exuded a culture of class and hospitality.
