New update...June 29---------- This joint is about as organized as a Chinese fire drill. Out of iced tea at lunchtime? Come on! Haha. But I still love eating here. They make mistakes, but they are quick to make things right. It's still the best place I know for traditional diner food and daily specials. Everthing has a fresh taste to it. I'm glad this place exists. Updated November 5, 2021. ------------- I hope to return my rating to five-stars. This is still one of my favorite spots to eat. Great value on all the food. The quality is usually great. The people are wonderful. Just know that, right now anyway, the place is a hot mess. Orders are wrong. Wait time is long. Confusion reigns. It's not their fault, I believe. They are simply dealing with personnel shortages like everyone else. They are hustling their best to satisfy people. But I just wanted folks to know that now is not a good time to eat there if you are short of time. ---------- This is almost a five star diner experience. Great value. I had a wonderful CF steak. The roll was definitely fresh baked. The mashed potatoes were definitely fresh...not reconstituted. The gravy was authentic. Really, really good. I hold back on the five star because of the salad. It was a pre-made salad with only iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. It had probably sat in the fridge for a while and just lacked any freshness. Not a big deal, cause it was only a side dish. But I'd be hesitant to order an actual dinner salad here. But the food is great, overall. I'm returning soon.

I went to pick up our order and wasn't even greeted. A staff member was more interested in hanging a picture than they were helping customers. The picture is here because even though it clearly states they take American Express they indeed to do not. When I showed the waitress she stated, "Well I guess we need to remove that because we don't. So are you going to pay for your food or not?" As I stood there in shock I just nodded yes. Then as she handed me my receipt she bended over and picked my food up OUT OF THE FLOOR! Whether it was in a bag or not is irrelevant at this point. The lady standing beside me had been waiting as long if not longer than myself. She had driven BACK which was a 30 minute drive as well because they didn't give her all of her order. So of course I'm thinking please at the very least have this order right. By the time I get back to our vehicle my fiancée is so angry he doesn't wait for me to check the food. Of course it wasn't all there but he isn't going to turn around. The food was HORRIBLE & COLD. We didn't eat it. MAYBE if you want to dine in it's worth it but if you aren't then STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!

10-21-2024 Ordered a 1/2 lb Signature Burger and crinkle cut fries and insweet tea to drink. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's was scrumptious and my waitress was beautiful and very hospitableTime 11:10 PM Great Food , Great Service..... Today's meal consisted of a Large Chef Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing. It was fantastical and packed with fresh homesome goodness. The Marta Jeans Speical with French Toast was amazing and hit the spot The Chase omelette and southern style biscuits and saw meal gravy was great. Coffee was hot, fresh and plentiful. The Cheese Cake was mouthing watering. (You must try it!) This is a great little county dinner hidden away here in Beebe serving up some great lip smacking vittles. Today, I enjoyed a hamburger steak, covered in brown gravy and onions. My side dishes were dried okra and country style mashed potatoes. This was the daily special for $10.99 not including drink. The chicken fried steak was also good today along with a side salad and country style mashed potatoes. The cost was $11 .59 not including drink.

4* because I think it's a little pricey & if you pay W/any type of card, they charge an extra 15%, based on whatever your total food bill is. The waitress said it cost them to run the cards.

They give big portions, but I'd rather have a chose of a smaller portion that I'm actually gonna be able to eat all or most of & a smaller bill. They did not have whats called a lite menu, meaning smaller portions, nor a veggie plate option, which i most likely would have done because I love all kinds of side dishes & when I eat meat I can only eat it in a small portion. I didn't see a kids menu. I sometimes order off of a kids menu in places that serve very big adult servings. Maybe I just overlooked it, but I really didn't see a kids menu.

My mom & I got the 3 piece grilled chicken W/2 sides of choice & a chose of roll, Texas toast or cornbread. The fried okra was good. My sweet potatoe casserole good. I really enjoyed the roll. Mom said her mashed potatoes & gravy & white beans W/ham were all really good. I'm glad I didn't order the white beans, though I thought about it. Nowhere did it say they came W/ham in them. I don't like ham. The waitress brought both mom & I okra, but mom ordered beans, so the waitress kindly went to get mom the beans & let her keep the okra. The chicken was very good, seasoned well but not overly & very tender. My husband got a hamburger & fries. The hamb. was a lrg medium thickness pattie, which we both prefer over those round really thick ones. He liked it but was disappointed that the fries were barely done. About 1/3rd of his fries had a lil bit of a crisp on them, but the others were white & floppy.

There was a bit of a wait to get our food, but all the food was served hot & i'm sure the burger & the grilled chicken were cooked fresh. Grilled chicken can take a little longer than some things.

The waitress was...

Food was good. I like the country mom and pop feel of the place but they have definitely got to take a look into the staff.. The one lady, who has helped not only me but a few of my friends/family who have went, is just nasty and possibly on something she should just say no to because it definitely shows. She looked high and she had black stuff all over her hands and then wiped a table off with a towel she had just used on a spot on the floor.then not only touched our plates but picked up the biscuit that dropped and placed it back on the plate and still tried to serve the plate. Another time we were there, she picked her pants out of her "bottom area" before handing a man silverware and in that same visit was conversating with another staff member about how she had so many different men in her bed the following day/or days she was off.. Nobody in that place cared or wanted to know that and we could have all went without seeing her pick her crack. This could be a real health concern people! I asked her name and she said Angie but I heard others calling her FooFoo blondie. When I look at her it just makes my stomach turn.. It makes me sick. The other servers are great but one bad egg can...
