Just ordered a cheese burger deluxe with no ketchup. And instead of informing that they were no longer served in was given a jr cheese burger w pickles and mustard. Something i did not order, I don't even eat mustard on my burgers and I like veggies on my burgers too. So as we are going down the road I bet my budger out the bag and was very disappointed. He turned around and we went back. I told the lady through the speaker and she came out and tells me we'll we took those of the menu like a month ago, I said we'll why did you not tell me that and then give me something I did not order. She said we'll we don't sell them so we just give them what we do have. And we did not know you did not know, well duh you didn't tell me you just gave me something I didn't order nor eat so how was I supposed to know, this carried on. But really just bc your at sonic every day doesn't mean others are, it would have took two seconds to say I'm sorry but that is no longer on our menu so that I could have then ordered something else that I did eat. But it's my fault bc I don't treat the change of the sonic menus and when they change as one would a Bible or something. Like wow,...
Read moreSonic is a classic in American fast food. Are there better burgers out there? Yes. Can one find a foot long cheese Coney with tots elsewhere? Absolutely. But Sonic's classic menu is like home. Sitting there eating my super good breakfast burrito with 3 packs of salsa this morning before attacking the commute to work, I felt the same connection to home that I felt sitting in a sonic drive in forty years ago. Pull up, roll down the window and enjoy the moment. You'll hear music from other people's cars, and conversation. Maybe you'll see birds hopping around enjoying the dropped french fry. You'll have a chance to smile at a young carhop, and better yet, tip them a fiver and make their day. In short, you'll have a chance to be present in the moment and allow yourself to enjoy some good old fashioned happy food. If you slow down and appreciate it, you'll leave better than you came. The vanilla flavoring in your Coke will be the...
Read moreI go to Sonics all the time. I have not had great luck at this location. I got food poisoning a month back or so. Gave them a call to let them know so they could check their food and speak with staff....manager asked for all my info but literally never asked how I was or called me back. It was a hellish 12 hours or so being so sick. However, I moved on. Just ordered a burrito this morning and there was a hair in it that I discovered after a few bites in. Called the manager to let them know. She literally just told me "that rarely happens but sometimes it just does". I said well, its gross. She offered my money back which I appreciate but I will definitely not be back. They just dont pay close enough attention when preparing food. Good luck here though. Sometimes its decent but Im not willing to take any...
