One star – never going back.

I decided to try this place for the first time, and I really regret it. As soon as I walked in, the two cooks were sitting down scratching themselves and just staring at me, while the guy at the counter acted like he didn’t want to be there at all. The energy was uncomfortable and unwelcoming from the start.

After I placed my order, the cooks slowly got up and started working—but they never washed their hands or put on gloves, which is extremely concerning for any food establishment. I didn’t feel safe saying anything because everyone there already seemed irritated and I didn’t want to start an issue over food.

When I got home, I was hoping at least the food would be hot enough to kill any germs, but the burgers were cold, the fries were also cold and completely unsalted, and the green chile was so spicy I couldn’t even finish one bite. I honestly want a refund, but I don’t even want to go back to ask for one.

Disappointing experience all around. Just goes to show that sometimes trying something new...

I got the half pound burger and large fries and a medium drink cost almost $14. The burger was a single 1/2 lb Patty that was obviously and shaped but tasted like it came in a bag of 20 out of the freezer at Sam's Club and was then pan-fried. In most places when you order a half pound burger and have to pay extra for the cheese you get two slices of cheese. Not here. One small slice of cheese. Also one small slice of tomato for a half pound burger. The fries were cold limp and unsalted and at $2.50 I expected the large fries to actually be large. Fortunately the quality of the fries was poor enough that I did not want anymore as the quantity was about equal to a McDonald's medium fries. The size of the medium Coke was actually surprising it looks like about a 32 oz which is the size of a large in many places. Have come to this location 3-4 times in the last month. Each experience has been below average. Today went to grab food at 6:34pm, their hours of Opp signs clearly stated that they close at 7pm. Not the case. Not the first time either. From the moment of walking in we were looked at like we were a huge inconvenience to them, the gentle man then mentioned that they wouldn’t be able to serve us and basically showed us the front door which we didn’t let us hit us in the behind. Apparently making a sale and servicing a family of 3 wasn’t on their priority list it was to close up and get out by 7pm not close at 7pm which their signs clearly stated. I am sure this place has lost allot of business and will soon be losing more with this type of service. Food is good but their service needs a huge revamp. I live close but will now make sure to take my business elsewhere where it is wanted and appreciated. Maybe the owner is so rough on these employees that they have to close early but I suggest you change for...
