Off Shore Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Bellevue

Omg gross. Used to like this place. New remodel is super tacky in my opinion, chairs are very uncomfortable if your sitting there for more than an hour which your going to be if you order food or wait for your bill. The menu doesn't impress at all... it's very limited and everything in there seems like it's trying way too hard to be "new and different ". If you like sea food that your cat wouldn't touch this might be for you. What flavors they tried to make work together just didn't. Server was ok at first, she checked on us 3 times before our food came (checking on our drinks?) but it took forever for our food to come and then it was like she disappeared after that. When we were done eating (had to put napkins on our plates and push them to the end of the table) it took forever to get our bill, they had cleared our table 15 minutes before that. They wernt busy and they had plenty of staff on hand... the amount of servers and cooks walking around talking to eachother was amazing, never ever seen that in a restaurant before! We will never go here again unless they do some drastic changes to their menu... 🤮 Edit 3 years later: Went in for lunch. Ordered the pretzel bites and beer cheese as an app (the reason I gave my review another star) and the beer cheese was awesome! The 3 of us ordered burgers. They were all cooked like we asked but it tasted like the meat had turned bad. Like rotten. The bill cam to almost $100 when it was all added up. The pretzel bites, 3 burgers, 2 fountain drinks and a hard lemonade from the bar... definitely not work it.

Terrible experience!! Terrible! Worst service we’ve ever had! We took a boat from AY McDonald in Dubuque specifically to eat here! It took at least 10 minutes for anybody to even acknowledge us to seat us, and then another 15 before we ever saw a waitress. She took our drink order and then brought my pop and my son’s lemonade and then it took another 15 minutes for my husband and brother to get their bar drinks. When she delivered these, she took our order, and we never saw her again. A food runner delivered “our” food 45 minutes later…appetizer and meals together….. and never said one word and we ended up asking the bar for a bottle of ketchup for fries and I never did get the salad I ordered (and there was never anyone around to ask about it ) so I simply sat there and watched everybody eat. We were never asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks or how the food …or if we even got our food!!…..was or checked on whatsoever…NOTHING….and it was just absolutely one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had in my life!!!!! So much potential and it’s just too bad. It was cheese and crackers on the way back to...

I want to love this place so much but unfortunately, the service is so poor, we probably won't continue to come back. We come by boat and every single time we try to give this place a chance, we are disappointed. The service is poor. I actually feel bad for the servers because it's like they've been thrown out there without any service training. We sat for over a half hour after our drinks were delivered while we waited to order our meals and unfortunately, we just left. Many people at our table had to go up to the bar to pay our bill and at one point, the bartender motioned us to just leave and our drinks were likely comped. While this was nice for us, imagine the establishment having to comp drinks because their wait staff never returned to our table to assist us after our drinks were served. I would highly recommend that the bar managers offer a more extensive training. You're a river bar and grill and many people depend on a meal while out on their boat excursions. I absolutely love the location of this establishment but the service is so bad, we'll likely not return or recommend our fellow boating friends to check...
