The peach smoothie...I dream of it. It is worth five stars. However, the service was so non-existent, with a smile though, that I can only give three overall. They were doing their job, but only bare minimum. My elderly mom and I had walked from church in heels in the heat to this location, about a mile since car broke down. She was already under the weather overall so when adding her visible state and lack of voice, I felt they should have been more attentive and courteous. They didn't tell us when our waters or order was ready after we flopped down exhausted at the table, completely and again I use the word visibly, parched and worn. So we had assumed they would be bringing them to us, no one mentioned otherwise and there were no other patrons present to imitate. When I noticed that they were just sitting on the counter by the register, I had wondered how long the order was waiting for us. If you don't serve, no problem, but at least let us know instead of being more concerned with your colleagues relationship status so I could have rehydrated my poor mom sooner by getting it myself. Wouldn't have hurt to bring it over either seeing as we were obviously unaware and they weren't doing anything else. Just felt akward being in there like we were two adults interrupting a girl gathering. I chalk it up to being naive and new to the working scene, which is why I am writing such a long , maybe seemingly unnecessarily over detailed review, so they can learn to just go that extra step, because you never know when the smallest gesture would make all the difference, and in the end be self serving because it would make you...
Read moreIf you've never in a Scooter’s Coffee shop, you need to. Everytime I enter the shop, I'm greeted not only by the warm verbal welcomes, but the wonderful smell of fresh-made coffee as well. September is now my favorite month this year (with the exception of December because of Christmas) because Scooter’s is giving FREE coffee to anyone this month in any size! I visit to get one almost every day if I can. This is a general review of all my experiences at Scooter’s. (Mostly at the Scooter’s on 25th Street since its my favorite and most visited Scooter’s shop.) The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I had to wait a good while for my coffee once and then it was the wrong size. But it's okay because I understand how stressful it can be working, especially when you're worried about getting just one thing wrong. Overall, I would give this place 5 stars for the wonderful workers who commit to serving and making customers feel welcome every day, assorted choices of great coffee (and other refreshments), FREE accessible Wi-Fi, and the atmosphere in which you can study, work, hang out with friends, have meetings, or just chill. Keep up the amazing work and...
Read moreNormally I love coming to this scooters and I’m usually a regular. It’s Convienetly located next to base. However, lately my coffee has had no flavor. Taste like water or hot milk. I always order the carmallicious and it used to be my favorite but now I’m questioning whether is worth coming to this one or driving the extra mileage to another location. Last time my carmalicious tasted like cinnamon and I took it back through the drive threw thinking it was a mix up. Sure enough the second one tasted the same like watered down cinnamon. I’m disappointed with how much the quality has gone down last week I ordered a carmalicious muffing it was warmed up but hard and crunchy, also got a everything bagel and it wasn’t cooked all the way through. The employees need...
