The North Pole Ice Cream and Treats — Restaurant in Bellingham

Was glad to see this place open after Sandy's closed however not a good first experience. I got the Smores sundae which said the toppings were fudge, marshmallows, bits of grahams, whipped cream and a cherry. What I received was some kind of dark tan ice cream with butterfinger pieces with a little bit of fudge topping with whipped cream and cherry. Husband ordered fried dough sundae. After waiting about 10 - 15 minutes ( we were the only ones there ) his sundae came out. It was actually a big hot fried dough with a scoop of ice cream on it that was melting all over, a little bit of hot fudge, and whipped cream. What a mess! The fried dough was very plain with no flavor. And the cost on this was $14!!! We assumed this would be an ice cream sundae with bits of fried dough and would be $7 like mine was. Shouldve sent it back. We wont be going back...

Great place to get ice cream and/or food. The employees are always very friendly even with the long lines and some impatient customers. What I witnessed today left me flabbergasted. I felt bad for the employees with the horrible attitude of a "lady" who was there. She was complaining about waiting for her chicken tenders and fries. She also kept mentioning a name stating that it's the owner for whatever reason. Apparently, she believes it makes the food prepping faster. Her own kids looked embarrassed. I would like to commend the kids working there for still being patient and keeping a smile on...

First let me start with the owners. They are so nice and friendly. And the staff are amazing! But that’s not just what gets our family to come back regularly. It’s the amazing menu.. omg let me tell you the ice cream is top notch. My kids love the fried dough with ice cream. But I personally have a new top favorite; the cookie lava cake with ice cream, it is like a party in my mouth!! Looking forward to many more trips to The North Pole ice cream and treats! Hope you give this place a try and fall in love with it like...
