Cattleman's Dining — Restaurant in Belmond

Service was friendly. Food was awful. For that price you’d get better food at a mc Donald’s.

I don’t know how you mess up spaghetti or Alfredo THAT badly. The “au jus dipper” was cold roast beef and unmelted bag shredded mozzarella cheese on a slightly burnt hot dog bun. The fried fish was delicious, the only positivity I can give from the experience food wise.

The salad bar was hardly a salad bar. Worst part was nothing was labeled. How are people with food allergies supposed to know what your mystery foods and dressings are supposed to be?? Unsafe. Fix it.

For someone who claims to be a “legit chef” I expected...

We had dinner at Cattleman's while visiting the area. I knew (from the Internet) that it was "fried chicken night". I didn't understand that the only choice would be the fried chicken buffet. The only food available was a pretty sad salad bar and the fried chicken buffet which was very limited in options for sides (no vegetables at all). I had offered to take the family out for dinner, and was honestly embarrassed that this was the menu. The food wasn't bad, but really...

GREAT food and the service EXCELLENT! I had the 1/2 Fried chicken it was so crispy and juicy...YUM! With the meal came the salad buffet which was very good and potato, I had potato rounds which were absolutely delicious. A loaf of bread also came with the meal, I did not have any but it smelled wonderful! I would highly recommend...
