Sportspage Bar & Supper Club Belmont WI By looking at the packed parking lot you might think you will have to wait a long time to get a table. Upon entering, the hostess sat us right away. We walked past the salad bar, it looked good. We had water poured and was given adequate time to think about what we wanted to order. It is a Friday and you know if you are in Wisconsin you will be ordering a Fish Fry. The menu has two types of batter, the dry batter or the beer batter. I choose the dry batter, which is just a bit lighter than your typical heavy batter. The place was super busy and I thought our waitress will not be able to handle us plus all the other tables. Well I was proved wrong; she was the best waitress I have ever come across in many years. The place is average but very big and can accommodate large parties. There were many families and couples having a nice time. The waitress knew everyone but still managed to check on our table at least 5 times. We did not have to wait for any beers, condiments etc. She was already there asking us if we would want another round with our meal. Did I mention the salad bar? This salad bar was perfect. Not too big, not too small. Fresh bread, fresh soups, and a great selection of salad bar items. Excellent coleslaw! After filling up on the salad bar we ready for our order. I ordered French fries with mine. Did not even think to ask if they had hash browns, swiss cheese and onion. But if they did I am sure it would be superb. The Sportspage has the right thing going on!
