I have eaten here several times. My husband really likes it and the price is definitely right. This is a case of you get what you pay for. I am yet to find anything on the breakfast menu that is really outstanding. And the cheese in the he omelette is so sparse it barely counts as cheese. The gravy is straight water. I've ordered it twice and it has been water through and through each time. The last time I got to go and it took a full three tablespoons of flour in a roux to make it anything that resembled gravy. I also had the pork tenderloin once and it was so overdone it was hard to chew and definitely was not made in store. My husband likes their food and says the burger is always good. But that is the only thing he's ever ordered. So I guess the burger is a safe bet but everything else is relatively bland yet affordable. The service is always outstanding

Well, it has been awhile since TJ's opened in the closed Odens BBQ building and we was looking for a new place to try. The interior is about the same as before, and clean all around. The menu is plentiful with options including all day breakfast choices. I chose the tenderloin sandwich with fries, this is made with pounding the "tenderloin" flat then breading it before frying. The result was very tasty and large in size. Another in our group chose an omlette with bacon and hash browns it looked good as well, over all the food here seems to be a good value. Alex was our server and he was very attentive to our groups needs and seemed to cover the busy diningroom with ease.

Absolutely amazing home cooking. Breakfast all day long! Open faced hot sandwiches! Exactly the same affordable delicious experience as OG TJs!! Dad had the fish - and Loved it, great Cole slaw! Nana had the waffle combo (whiteboard special!) and coffee. This time, I housed the “light breakfast” 🥹my egg was PERFECT, alongside an order of biscuits and gravy! So happy to welcome the TJs dining experience to Belton! Beautiful establishment. I even saw the owner and his wife!

I've had three different items from here on different occasions and was underwhelmed every time. The first was the mushroom Swiss burger and it was very dry and tasteless. Burger King has one on their menu from time to time and it is leaps and bounds better and it's Burger King. The second time I had something from the daily specials menu. It was a chicken entree with mashed potatoes and green beans. While it was better than the burger, it was still dry. If I didn't get it with extra gravy then don't think I could've eaten it. The green beans tasted like they came straight out of an always save can. Lastly, I had the tenderloin sandwich with fries. While the the tenderloin is huge, it was like eating breaded cardboard. It has some flavor but I had to lather it with the provided horseradish mayo and pickles to bypass the lack of juiciness it lacked. My dog, who eventually ate it cause he's a dog, thought twice about before doing so. And while I did say lastly already, I did have the peanut butter pie. It did have a slight taste of peanut butter but again very underwhelming. Did not taste homemade but instead like a frozen pie from the store. The texture of it was off putting. The price of all these items is the main reason it gets 2 stars. It was all edible for the price but you could get better tasting food the same price or better at...

You know I had always heard really good things about the location in Grandview. This day in this location.....mmmm I heard and witnessed the Owner? Manager? Get in a woman's face, who by the way, had a valid complaint, and told her "if you don't like it, don't come back" She wanted silverware and a decaffeinated coffee for crying ot loud she had waited of 30 minutesfor a Stinking cup of coffee!!!!.. The food was not very good, the coffee was ehh my omlete wasn't even warm enough for the slice of cheese inside of it to melt. I feel so bad for these girls. They are bussing tables and doing the best they can. And the poor girl at the front, she was packing to go orders, running the register and taking the names of parties for the wait list as well as bussing tables and wrapping silverware...all by her self. Hey, buddy, guess what... my shadow will never cross your door again. It's so said really that we have lost 2 pillars for locally owned and operated family dining locations, and this is what comes...

I called in an order at lunch time on a Saturday, also a holiday weekend. Order was prompt, food was incorrect (bacon double burger instead of just double and a double kids burger instead of single).. not an issue really. I don't know if we were charged the extra or not and don't really care. I am huge fan of Grandview TJs at both locations they've been in. That's why we decided to try TJs South. I sent in to get the order. The plane was clean, looked just like odens really, just a lighter color. The staff was so nice and friendly! Great staff! The first however fell very short of expectations! None of the 3 in my family finished a burger. We will tried adding other condiments and, nope. It was actually a bad flavor. I was disappointed the patties were so thin, then once I tasted it I was grateful I didn't have more in my mouth! Sorry, but we won't be going back. Hoped it was like the other TJs but it's just awful. I gave it 2 stars only because it didn't make us...
