Elkhorn Inn — Restaurant in Bendersville

We were pleasantly surprised by our visit today. The restaurant seems very popular with local residents, but we didn't feel out of place. Awesome selection of tea, so off to a great start for me. A large cup of hot water was delivered along with a pot of water, perfect for my needs. I ordered ham and swiss omlete with homefries and pancakes. I prefer a more fluffy omlete, but it had lots of ham and cheese. Homefries were slightly under done, but not a deal breaker. In the tiny town of Bendersville, PA located at the main intersection is the Elkhorn Inn. The cabin like interior and the great food make this a very enjoyable outing.

Bendersville is just north of Biglerville, PA and not far from Gettysburg, PA. The Elkhorn Inn has adequate parking and a nice size dining room. Daily specials are home cooked favorites and Tuesday is a big deal with the Beef Pot Pie.

Such a neat place! My Aunt and Uncle took me here for breakfast and I was really impressed! For starters, the coffee cups are huge, so for someone like me that drinks a lot of coffee, I was enjoying the big coffee cups. The food portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable.
