Wow. First off, I'm a transplant from Texas and I know my Mexican fare.

This here is the place. Since arriving in the area I've been trying out almost every Mexican restaurant nearby seeking that Tex-Mex greatness, and I'm a little disappointed to be learning about this gem as I prepare to depart Colorado. I intend to come back once or twice before I travel, but why? ...

Unique and tasty salsa... flavorful, with subtle hints of unique and mysterious greatness... hard to find that... the brown sauce at Uncle Julio's might rival it, but it's close. If you want more traditional salsa they have a 'ranchero' sauce you might favor.

The single-best tamales I've had since departing Texas, and honestly they even rival Texas Street tamales. If you know of what I speak, you're also know that's a real feat.

I got the 3-item-combo with beef taco / beef enchilada / pork tamale. The taco was quite excellent, and yet somehow it managed to be the low point of the meal. The rice & beans were alright for Colorado, but were handily outclassed by entre items.

We are in town visiting family and we were told this was a good place to get a meal. We ordered a $16 Supreme burrito, a kids bean and cheese burrito, and a kids quesadilla. Both kids meals were $7.50 which I thought was outrageous, especially for the area. There are nicer places that charge $6. The Supreme burrito came cold and was smothered in green chili and it was the most bland thing I've ever tasted. The beef was so dry and just crumbled, had zero flavor. I'm visiting from Wisconsin and they have better Mexican food than this place. What a disappointment. There's also no lunch menu, so everything is full price. The music at the bar and the music in the dine in section were so loud and competing against eachother, I left with a terrible headache.

First of all, the service here is out of this world! We were having a family reunion and we're only supposed to have 25 or so people and ended up with about 60! The server was awesome!! And everyone who helped with the table was friendly and great. Next, the drinks and food came out soooooo fast and it was all outstanding! DELICIOUS!!! We couldn't believe how they kept up with the entire group and everyone else that was in the restaurant who were not in our group. They continuously were filling drinks and making sure everyone was taken care of! Lastly, I know it kinda goes with the service industry, but not one person was grumpy or upset that we had such a large group. It was truly a great experience! So THANK YOU so much!
