Onset Pub — Restaurant in Bennington

The food appears to come directly from the cafeteria line, served on a real plate. Not great.

Don’t bother to order a burger anything other than well done as they appear to have all of their frozen meat slabs pre-cooked to boot leather.

The assistant bar tenders are friendly, nice and welcoming. The “Senior” bar tender has an inflated sense of self importance. She probably means well but comes off as snotty. It was as if she thought she was working at a high end martini bar and you ordered the Bud Light (although it is doubtful she could make a proper martini).

This is a very small “pub” at a pretty good little ski mountain and shouldn’t be expected to get 5 stars but I would hope for at least a 3 star performance.

With a shift in attitude and some more time devoted to food prep, this place could easily become a much better...

This bar is great for coming to relax after skiing. TVs at the bar, and tables for families and groups. I loved the cocktails they prepared, and the food was top notch. Great draft selection, and very nice staff. For a small pub...

Ridiculously slow service, partly due to understaffing. Staff doesn't bother to be polite or respectful, just bad service overall. Don't waste...
