The only thing I have to say about celebrity's is that it isn't hot dog world. Not even close. If they were baseball clubs then Celebrity's would be the farm team from Nowheresville with an even crappier name like the Sand Gnats. Hot Dog World would be the New York Yankees. The last time my wife and I ate at celebrity's we said "Never Again." We got our food to go because we had somewhere we needed to be and were in a rush. Less than a mile down the road after leaving my wife opens up the aluminum foil housing her hot dog to find this goopy, dropping, soggy mess resembling something that had been thrown in the garbage a few days prior. The meat of the hot dog was this strange pinkish hue and you couldn't discern what was Cole slaw, what was chii or what was bun. It was what hot dog soup would look like if anyone was ever crazy, and disgusting enough to create it. Hands down one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had. 1 out of 5 I'd give it zero stars if...

Pros: Very Cheap (get what you pay for) Clean place, freindly staff, very fast service.
Cons: I hate when people tell you what you want to hear. I asked if they had all beef hot dogs, the guy told me they were 90% beef and only 10% Pork. So I agreed. Had 2 dogs and and fries and asked for water.
Hot dogs were very small, no crunch, and very pale. No way these hot dogs were 90% beef. Im 99% sure they were 100% pork.
Fries were hardly seasoned and I was given a tiny cup of warm water with no ice. No ice?? What place doesnt have ICE? I get better hot dogs at a gas station and and supermarket.
If you just want cheap, and dont care about what those hot dogs are made of, this place is good for you. These are definitely the cheapest quality hot dogs you will...
Read moreWe both had a craving for hot dogs today. We were camping at Lake Powhatan. We considered fixing some ourselves, which meant buying all the things needed to do this. Since there are only two of us, we looked online instead, of course. Celebrity's Hotdogs, near the campground, had good reviews. We decided to give it a try. My husband ordered his All The Way, mustard, chili, slaw, onions. I ordered mine with just ketchup and mayo. Both were prepared as ordered with a, no color added, weenie, which filled the soft warm split top bun. They were like what we had as kids, at home. I don't know the brand but they just tasted like a hot dog should, without being too big around or nearly burnt. We also had hot fries and a bottled soft drink as part of a combo. We absolutely plan to eat there again the next time we...
