Eating here made me feel like I was eating at a friend's house. It doesn't have that restaurant feel to it. The owner comes out to meet his guest, he doesn't just hide in the back. The waiter is friendly & helpful. Overall, this place has a really nice homey feel to it.

PICTURE THIS... I was fishing when I started telling my husband about this amazing BBQ place I use to eat at as a child, back in Alabama. Of course that made me start craving a BBQ sandwich. I'm fairly new to the area so I googled and found this place.

My husband and I walk in, sit down, and a man hollers from across the room "whatcha drinkin?" (and not a rude I'm too lazy to come to you type of holler, but more like you're at home in the dining room and he's in the kitchen)

My BBQ sandwich comes out, I took a bite, my eyes rolled to the back of my head. IT WAS SO GOOD!!! I inhaled the sandwich then turned to my chef husband and without thinking, I said "OMG THAT WAS THE BEST PULLED PORK I HAVE EV......" As his face starts to shift into a - finish that and you'll walk home - type look. I realize I am saying this out loud so I finish with... EVER PAID TO EAT." (LOL, that was a close one.) ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)

This is definitely a place a chef can go to enjoy a GREAT meal.

My husband raved about the ribs he ordered. As you can see from the picture the smoke was perfect. They came off the bone like butter and the taste was on point. He said they're the best he's ever tasted - cooked by someone else.

Oh, and the burgers... OMG, they are so juicy. I inhaled one of those too. ¯(ツ)/¯

Hands down the best service & food in town!!

To the owner/BBQ master: My husband is also a veteran, he noticed the ketchup bottle on the table. We really appreciated that you are doing your part to help support...

I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. I visited our cabin this past weekend and ate there 3 times.

First time I had the pork plate, fried okra and baked beans. The pork was juicy, yet soaked up the sauce. I recommend trying both the hot and regular sauce. The hot is really just kind of warm, but has phenomenal flavor. The beans were cooked perfect. Add a little barbecue sauce and they were just how I like em. The okra was spot on. Growing okra ourselves, I tend to be snobby, but it was good.

The next day I had the brisket sandwich and tater tots for lunch. It was a lit of food for lunch. The tots were cooked perfectly, on the darker side of golden brown and crispy. The brisket ROCKED! After drinking two sweet teas and talking with the owner for quite sometime I tried the key lime pie. OH MY GOSH! BAM!!! It was awesome and i left way too full.

Ok, fast forward to dinner. I had the brisket plate with coleslaw and baked beans. The brisket was amazing, just like at lunch and the portion was very generous. Let's talk about the cole slaw. Making our own, I am kind of critical and this was hands down the best slaw I have had from a restaurant. It was a combination of creamy and vinegar based.

I cannot wait to come back to the cabin with my whole family...

We stopped into Amazing Blaze BBQ, a casual, sit-yourself-down type of place with a warm, family-style atmosphere. It was semi-packed when we arrived, which gave us a good first impression. What stood out right away was the personal touch — the owners were walking around, chatting with guests and making sure everyone was having a good experience.

I’m giving this place a solid 4 out of 5 stars but deserves a 5/5. The only downside was that there appeared to be only one waitress working the entire dining area. She was clearly hustling and doing her best, and when things got a little busy, one of the owners stepped in to help. It was nice to see that kind of teamwork and care.

Now the food — absolutely delicious! We had brisket that was tender, smoky, and flavorful with a beautiful bark. Sides included creamy mac and cheese, seasoned tater tots, sweet and tangy baked beans, and a tasty potato salad. The Texas toast added a great buttery crunch.

Overall, a great dining experience. We were bummed to see a “For Sale” sign out front — this place is a gem, and we hope it...
