After looking at all the Google reviews, I thought to myself, how could a dump like this still be open if it's really that bad? So, I took a trip from Paducah which has no China buffets anymore to indulge in all the so-called nastiness this place had to offer. Upon interring, there was 18 patrons already seated and eating away. My family was seated and after getting the drink orders in, we dived right into the food bar. To my surprise, everything was full and hot at 5:30 in the afternoon. Choices was typical of a China buffet, General Tso's, sweet sour chicken, pork, rice etc. with a dessert bar and a few things I never seen offered elsewhere. As I devoured my first plate, I didn't feel sick at all, so I opted to make another run at it, and did. As I was people watching the other patrons, I noticed no one was getting sick or falling into the floor convulsing after eating this food...even mad at the choice they picked for supper.
All joking aside, our meal hit the spot! No, this buffet isn't comparable in SIZE to the China Buffet in Sikeston, MO or even August Moon in Murray, KY, but there was plenty of options for normal folks. If you're tipping the scales at around 250-350 lbs, you gonna be made no matter where you go to eat, but if you have a craving for some Chinese food, this is a great spot...
Read moreNo protection to keep customers from spreading COVID 19. Today I went to get what I consider the best Chinese food in town, to discover the Panda Restaurant had taken down the plexiglass barrier that kept customers from spreading germs to the buffet. New COVID 19 cases are higher than they ever have been, but customers are serving themselves at the buffet. I was there a couple of weeks ago , the restaurant was set up so that the customer on one side of the barrier could tell the masked employee what they wanted and then their plate was handed out to them. Now with serving themselves - just think of all the people that touches the serving spoon then goes back to the table to pick up an eggroll to eat. Not me not today. Everyone has a choice, my choice was to walk away and take my business to a restaurant that does their due diligence to protect...
Read moreI usually have a good experience eating here and especially for the price. They always seat me right away. They're always nice. They make sure I don't need any refills but they don't hover and bug you constantly. They're consistently checking on the bar and making sure the food is good and stocked. I wish they had a coconut shrimp or seasoned shrimp dish. They do have a shrimp and imitation crab dish, however I'm not a fan of imitation crab. The pricing kind of confuses me because when I look at it online it says something different than what it actually is when I go. However it's still a fair price and worth it. Definitely beats fast food which can cost about the same. I've seen some poor reviews of them online, but that's never been...
