Tim’s Tavern — Restaurant in Benton

Party of 2 at 2:20pm Sat. We were the only customers. We waited 40 min for a BBQ platter and a hamburger. Food was ok but when server presented the total, I questioned mine. I had 2 meat platter, comes with 2 sides. When I ordered, I asked what meats could I choose from and she said any so I got pork and brisket. . She asked what sides so I got double fries. When I asked why my check was over $23 when the 2 meat platter was only $13.99 plus I had tea, she said there is a $2.00 up charge for the brisket and a $1.00 upcharge because I got fries (which is a side) and since I was to choose 2 sides I just said double fries. AT NO TIME DID SHE SAY THERE WAS GOING TO BE AN UPCHARGE OF $2 for the brisket when I ordered it, NOR did she say I was going to be charged $1 extra for the fries (again the platter comes with 2 sides). I told her she didn’t tell me abt it and she argued that she did and my friend was sitting right there when I ordered and she spoke up and said, no you didn’t say anything at all about an upcharge. Then the server said it’s on the menu, I looked at the menu just now online and it is NOT on there abt the upcharge. I eat out all the time and I spend a lot of money on meals, and don’t mind paying for what I order when I’m told in advance. It’s not about the money but about the deceit to try to cover up...

Delivery drivers stay away!!! I work for Doordash and had a 2 order pickup for this location. I was able to pick up the first order just fine but when they said the second order wasn’t ready yet I said that’s fine and sat down to wait. The same lady came back over to me and told me that I needed to leave and when I told her “it’s a 2 order pickup I can’t deliver the order without the other bag” she said that I needed to go deliver the order or just leave because I wasn’t allowed to just sit and wait. I have never been told to flat out leave a restaurant because they don’t have the order ready. I didn’t feel welcomed from the moment I walked in the door, do not go here especially if you are a delivery driver. Response to owner: When I accepted the order, the app sent it to me as ONE pickup that contained TWO orders. The type of pickup that this was prompted me in my app to pick up both at the same time. My app would not even allow me to leave without picking up the other order so I could not complete your request I was not just being lazy. You are also lying about how they were 20 minutes apart as the 2nd order only took an extra 10 minutes which is an average wait time for a 2...

Hello everyone , I usually don't ever write reviews but this time I just had to. My wife and I stopped this afternoon for some BBQ. We seen this Tavern on T.V and thought we would give it a try after all the parking lot was full of cars. So we figured it had to be good but actually everyone in there was waiting on there food. I didn't know until I ordered my burger and the wife's 2 piece catfish. It took 45 min to get our order and the catfish was basically burnt on the outside and uncooked in the middle. The burger was pretty good though. The service was terrible. There were a couple of ladies complaining that they had been waiting 2 hours for their food crazy. Oh and they were out of pulled pork and ribs....The waiter turned at least 8 to ten people away. She said that orders were an hour and a half behind. People in there was looking crazy. It's just my opinion but I believe the Tavern lost a lot of repeat customers. This place could make a lot of money but not with service like...
