So I'd like to preface this review with I used to love eating out and treating myself to Las Fajitas. Not anymore. I don't know what is going on, but they have changed and not for the better.
I used to enjoy going to any of their locations for the great service, generous drinks, and very tasty food. I especially enjoyed their Bella Vista location after a mountain bike ride. For over a year now though I have experienced nothing but disapointments. Eating there in person isn't too bad and would warrant a 4 star review on that alone. The food quality and portions aren't quite what they used to be so 4 stars on in person service is where I've settled there.
The glaring issues I've experienced are on carry out orders. The last 4 times I've ordered carry out over the past year have been wrong every single time. EVERY SINGLE TIME. This isn't a one off issue and is made even more disappointing when their carryout up charge is taken into consideration. This last order referenced in my photos is exactly that, the last carryout order I'm ever doing here. I ordered a double cheesy poblano fajita dinner and a large queso blanco. As you can see they gave us a single and charged me for the double. There is only 1 package of tortillas, and it's clearly a single size dinner based on my previous order experience. The queso is also only 75% full and the limited salsa they provide are also not full despite the tiney size of the containers. Shrinkflation is in full swing here!
In addition to all of this the attending server was almost arguing with us about our order being wrong.
Full disclosure I like to give a business multiple chances to show signs of improvement and don't like to pass judgement on a single negative experience. The fact that I've had 4 poor carry out experience in the course of a year speaks volumes here.
Had the attending server listening to our complaint not refunded our most recent order I would have given them a 1 star review.
I hope the business owner reads this review and takes steps to do better. You have good recipes and your food tastes great but your poor business practices will hurt your bottom line more than giving people generous portions like you used to.
I believe in you, I know you have it in you to change and I hope you take this as an opportunity...
Read moreMy wife and I have been going to this restaurant on a weekly basis, and we have always been happy with the servers and our food, but we will never go back again.
As I went to check out I noticed there was an incorrect item on our ticket so I brought this up to the lady at the counter whom I later found out was in some way related to the owners of this restaurant. She refused to remove the incorrect item from our ticket after going over it time and time again she continued to refuse to remove this mistake. The night shift manager showed up and at first chose to refuse to remove this item from our ticket as well. During all of this, the original lady that refused to remove this incorrect item from our ticket made extremely disrespectful remarks right in front of the manager, and was very condescending, demeaning, and sarcastic. This absolutely disrespectful verbage continued as I paid my bill, and as I was walking out the door she continued to shout disrespectful remarks. My wife and I couldn't believe what just happened and were really just shocked at the situation and shocked that someone can be so inhuman and absolutely hateful to another person over something like this. There is NO excuse for behaviour like this in general, let alone in a business setting.
There are plenty of restaurants in NWA and we strongly advise not going...

The last five, yes five, orders that I placed at Las Fajitas were all messed up. I ordered a fajita, but they forgot to include the meat - a minor ingredient in a fajita. On multiple occasions I made small changes to a meal and every time it was completely wrong, but in surprisingly different ways. The last one was the most interesting in that I received two trays of rice and beans, but no enchiladas.
I am not sure how complicated it is to take an order for one or two meals and get them right, but it must be to equivalent rocket science because they seem to find it impossible to master. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, you know, put myself in their shoes, but I have no idea how to do that when the level of incompetence is that high.
I realize I must have super high expectations for wanting the three different items I ordered (rice, beans, enchiladas - all the same kind) to make it into the container and for that I am sorry. I promise to lower them going forward.
If you venture into the Las Fajitas on Airport Blvd, keep your expectations low and have an open mind. There is no telling what you will...
