I came in to pick up my food during lunch about 12:20 12:30 and when I was waiting for my food to be done all I heard was commotion from the kitchen and it looked like a manager grilling his guys the reason why I said he looked like one is because his clothes look almost too clean telling his guys to shut up and work faster just bringing them down while working the rush.. Iâve had my run of good supervisors, bad supervisors and good managers and general managers but thereâs a time and a place to do this, it wasnât constructive criticism neither it was straight up bringing these guys down and you canât say âIâm not demeaning anyone I just want you all to hurry upâ and then tell your guy whoâs busting his ass to catch things up to âshut upâ numerous times when he wasnât even bullshitting with the others he was right there doing his job. If you talk to your guys like that then you need to leave the kitchen and find another job, thatâs unacceptable especially in front of customers and other workers. Food was good though and I got it quick. If I come back and see workers getting publicly humiliated again then someone is getting reported, if this guy knows who he is he needs to consider himself lucky his back was turned to me where I couldnât see his name tag, the grudge stays if this dude loves his job and wants to keep it I suggest treating your guys better before I get a chance to catch your name next...
   Read moreThe service there today was horrible went in I waited for 5 minutes before I could even get my order taken I had about four different people look at me and never said one word to me then I had to ask them if I could place an order because I didn't want to use the kiosk because they were nasty as with the rest of the store and I took my order I ordered a double cheeseburger plain small fry and a drink then was told the pop machine didn't work and what I like a tes and that was fine so I got a sweet tea the drink area was nasty there was flies and bug so I fixed my drink proceeded back over to the counter to wait on my food I stood there for 8 and 1/2 minutes waiting on my cheeseburger I asked them could I have my food and the boy told me that they were working drive-thru and he would get to it in a minute and I said I would like to have my food now and so he got me my food and all of the tables were nasty they were all dirty I had to wipe my own table off and at that point I didn't even go into the bathrooms because I was fully disgusted and ready to leave and the only positive thing that I can say about my visit was the fries was hot the rest of the service was below averages all around it...
   Read moreMy experience with McDonalds as a whole hasn't always been plesent. But today I went in to get a breakfast sandwich, and a large latte. I mean they don't sell the lattes by the pound or I'd get my body weight in them.
The lady who took my order was super nice and polite, even considering they were busy. However, she misheard my order and charged me for a small. I didn't even notice until he went to give me a small. I explained to the gentalman that I would take the small and still pay for a large, I just need coffee bad! This is what made the difference in the experice I had with this McDonalds in comparison to others.
Their manager seen me go back into the line to order and pay for a large latte.. she instructed the gentalman who was making the specialty drinks to make me a large on the house. She told me that it was their mistake and they would fix it. I told her they had only charged me for a small and I would cover the extra. And she wouldn't have it.
Customer service skills are a great quality to have as a manager, especially when you are dealing with the public. The manager here certainly exemplifies those skills. My hat is off to McDonalds in Berea,...
