Me and my family went for breakfast me and my brother order french toast and pancakes with bacon. My brothers bacon was to raw and mine was burnt to a crisp. The servers were hitting each other and saying that they each hit each other first. The chefs were getting yelled at and the manager took a waiters tip that was on the table that was meant for the waiter.Smelt like something was burning the whole time we were there. At the counter 4 waiters and the manager were sitting there not working and drinking coffee when we were trying to call them over to pay and leave.Lipstick on the rim of my little sisters chocolate milk. They had basically no change so we had to give them more of a tip that we gave them.THEY HAD A $2.00 FEE FOR SHARING ANYTHING ON YOUR PLATE WITH THE OTHER PEOPLE AT THE TABLE!The only good thing was they gave free toothpicks and mints. Also portions were big so I don’t understand why we can’t share with other people at the table.NEVER COMING BACK but if you like it come back all you want but I won’t.

Very pleased with my first visit. Ordered short stack of pancakes and ham. The ham slice was as large as the pancakes. Waffle order was delivered to the table hot and came with four slices of bacon and individual packets of syrup and whipped butter cups. Waitress kept the coffee coming and it was hot and tasty. Nicely run establishment. Also enjoyed seeing a motorcycle bear in the parking lot riding a Harley. This topped off my experience before traveling back to Maryland, eastern shore.

No Pizza Today. Wonderful meal that was very delicious. Kit Dwight had the Crab Cake sandwich special that came with french fries, coleslaw, beef barley soup and chocolate pudding. My choice was crock of onion soup, small garden salad, tuna salad club sandwich with french fries and coleslaw. Very enjoyable.

I’ve been going to this diner for several years these people know me over there today I brought my father which we lost our mother a month ago this is the first time he’s been out since her death we go to the diner it took forever to get our breakfast delivered to us then when we got it after I was 3/4 the way done with my meal I spotted a hair on the plate I brought it to the young man’s attention that works at the counter and he told me you ate most of it there’s nothing we can do when I said oh really I own for businesses this is an about the money it’s about principle he said well the best I can do is take three dollars at this time I was so disgusted I said you know I’ve been coming here for a lot of years he says I know I said it’s not the money it’s the principle of this he said sorry there’s nothing I can do I says well take all the money out I will no longer come back into this place again and I’ll write a review and let everyone know what kind of people we’re dealing with here he said sure that’s fine with a smile and said everyone else writes a review you might as well too I said well this is a great establishment and he wanted to eat here with unfriendly people like that I would not recommend this place When ever you go to a restaurant if you ever encounter something on your plate that should not be there they always say don’t worry about this plate we will take care of it and not charge you these people are all about the money and not...

My neighborhood "Lunch Bunch" went to this diner on St. Patrick's Day and 1 member ordered corned beef and cabbage for his meal. After a few minutes after everyone was served The member made a comment that the corned beef was as "tough as leather". A number of us encouraged him to send it back and order something else. I slipped out to use the rest room and when I sat down our members were in disbelief of the scene that I missed. Apparently the owner came out and put the meal on an empty table near our group and proceeded to pick at the meat and question what was wrong with it. He then asked our member what side of the plate that he ate from and proceeded to PICK UP MEAT FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PLATE AND PUT IT IN HIS MOUTH!!!! claiming that there was nothing wrong with the the meat! Needless to say he created quite a scene and totally humiliated our friend. I'm kicking myself now that I didn't say something to the owner as I passed him on the way out. I gave the review 1 star because the service was very good. I wanted to tell her that her boss just cost him 14 future customers. As I retell this story to my friends, I see the horror in their faces and vow to not go there. I'd say that owner needs a course in friendly communication. Especially in the...

This diner is a family favorite, especially when craving any time of day breakfast. We have never been disappointed, and service is friendly and attentive. One visit, our party of four went for lunch. The lunch menu included specials described as “mini,” but they were perfectly sized, perfectly priced portions of lunch time favorites (Reuben, open-faced and other sandwich choices.) The lunch specials included a choice of soup or salad and a small dessert. Breakfast never disappoints. Served hot and with minimum wait, the portions are generous reasonably priced, and made exactly as ordered. The breakfast specials are just a few dollars more than the regular menu price and include coffee and a small juice. If there is a wait to be seated, it is usually no more than a few minutes. Most tables are two or four seats, but easily moved to accommodate larger parties. There is also counter service. There is ample parking available including handicapped spaces. Parking in the side lot is easier, since many spots in the front are designated 15 minute parking for...
