Very friendly service from the whole staff that treats you like family & close friends! They'll go above & beyond to accommodate you anyway possible so you can enjoy the best experience possible! Menu has a large selection of comfort food & local specialty foods & come in huge portions! I couldn't recommend checking this place out for breakfast &/or dinner more often to as many people as I come across! This is a true rare gem & wonderful family experiences are always taking place everytime I visit! You can feel free to stop in just for a coffee or a specialty breakfast or one of the dinner specials or just something tasty off the menu & you'll be pleasantly surprised with the amount of food you'll get for the price & service! This is one of those places every family should get together once a week to unplug & enjoy great food & family together wether it's breakfast or dinner or at least once a month! I wish I lived closer I'd be grabbing take out probably every other night (such large portions would allow me to enjoy multiple meals from 1 plate or I could easily share a meal) or if we only had Uber Eats in this neck of the woods! Lol I can't wait to get back & enjoy all of my breakfast & dinner favorites. The only side note is as far as I know u can't get breakfast during dinner & I don't think they do any brunch at this time or allow for menu suggestions. But my father seems to be a frequent dinner at this establishment & seems to know the cooks so maybe he could weasel me a waffle at dinner or put a request in for something different like maybe a fajita dinner or an unhealthy chicken fried steak?! 🤞I know the kitchen has the talent to pull it off I just might have to work on a little friendly...

We went here for breakfast as our usual sunday breakfast place was closed for vacation. My choice was based on the fact they have a good rating with just under 700 reviews, so it must be good right?? Wrong, The family that walked in just ahead us as well as others they came in after us had finished their meal and left before we even got ours. We were a party of 3 ordered regular meals nothing extra or extravagant, my son ordered the french toast the only meal that was basically finished. Everything was way over salted, like the top came off and it was served that way type of over salted. I got biscuits and gravy which i know has a saltiness but it was so much i couldn’t eat but 1 half of one biscuit after scraping the gravy off, the home fries were the same way. My boyfriend ordered the portuguese benny and said it had a sour taste, he ordered a side of bacon which was crispier then he prefers so i asked for some of his bacon, it too was covered in salt! Who salts bacon? We had to ask for silverware as there was none by the time our meal came. Considering how long we waited for our food to arrive i didn’t complain cause we didn’t have time to wait to order something i could eat. I have worked in restaurants and public service, never could i imagine not asking someone who’s plate was 95% full when asking for the check if there was an issue and how it could be fixed. I wish we had the good experience many others have had, the place was busy, fast turn around but considering having to ask for cream for coffee not getting silverware till after the meal was placed on the table and half the food not being edible this is not a place we will be...

I've been here a handful times over the years. I've tried a biscuits and gravy that was great, I've been happy with the omelettes as well. Just wanted to raise a point that's kinda bothering me. I grew up in Berkley and I love supporting local business, but I get a high quality sausage egg and cheese with real egg and fresh bagel at my local Cafe in Fitchburg and I pay $5 and change. I've ordered a bacon egg and cheese the last couple weeks on my way back to central MA for work and I'm paying $10 for a sandwich in a Styrofoam container. No Homefries, no nothing. That's a little excessive if you ask me. The last week I decided to stop at honeydew instead 🤷 but it you have time to sit down I recommend it. Maybe you can scale your prices so that I can pay like $6 for a sandwich like a normal place and/or I can get a meal with toast and Homefries for like 11/12. Just some FOOD...
