One of the worst dining experiences EVER! Went here for burgers and drinks. After getting our drinks and watching our server ignore us for 20 minutes she finally came and took our order. We both ordered the Smoke House burger I ordered mine without cheese. Our server did not write our orders down when she took our order. Finally when our meals came out mine had cheese on it. Our server asked if I would like them to remake it. I said yes. She took my burger back to the kitchen and 10 minutes later another server brings me my burger. I take a look at it and discover that it’s the same burger they served me 10 minutes ago now with the cheese mostly but not totally scraped off. I immediately show the server and tell her I won’t be paying for this nor do I want anything else. She then brings us out the bill which still had the burger that I did not eat and they scraped the cheese off of. She then responded that she would see if the could take it off the bill. We will never be back. Service was terrible And if I wanted the cheese scraped off I could have done it myself and not waited 10 minutes for a cold/...

On our way back to castalia, we decided to stop to get something to eat, according to Google maps it was on our way home.

When we arrived it was nicely kept clean and staff was very pleasant. Our server Danielle was very polite and helpful on our questions. I ordered a patty melt and my wife ordered a calzone. Too our suprise everything was fresh! This I know because before I moved to Ohio from Detroit, I was a chef at a couple of country clubs and hotels. You can taste the clarified butter in my hand made patty melt with the fresh saute' onions and mushrooms.

My wife's calzone was freshly made , the sauce on the side was well seasoned and the dough was fresh and cheese. The butter garlic on the crust was excellent!

We ordered the cheesecake and I ordered the popcorn Carmel creme brulee both you can taste the quality of them both! The cheesecake was homemade it was properly done, it wasn't heavy and thick frozen like you get at any old restaurant.

I used to love this place but they switched my days off so now I come on Wednesdays! I used to come on Tuesdays around 1pm to eat and have 1 drink before the kids get off from school and the nice lady Amanda served!!! well I will say that the lady who served me today with black hair in her 40’s Melissa (Wednesday January) ughhhh 😮‍💨 I’m sorry but it was not great, you can look through my ratings, I NEVER LEAVE A BAD REVIEW but man this girl had me so shocked because any other girl even on the weekends had never been like that. My Gilhuly's girls are great but not that one🤮 I love Rachel, Audrey, Amanda and Jessie! Bring that back!!!!! Not Nasty attitude and not people like at all & most of all no smile Melissa! I felt like I was an issue the whole time even when I asked for simple condiments !!!
