Zeke's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Bernardston

Not being from the area, my daughter and I were in the neighborhood looking for a take out lunch place so we could picnic. The menu looked good, prices not listed, so we ordered. Well, it turns out that the establishment is in the clubhouse of a local golf course, which is set back from the road for nearly a mile or more. I was beginning to question my GPS, but we found it.

Not wearing clubhouse attire made me feel a bit uncomfortable. As I went inside, the bar area was packed and I got a few strange looks. However, the bartender was super nice and collected my food unseen and rang me out pleasantly and I left.

The bill was $34 for a grilled chicken Caesar salad and an order of chicken tenders (4 pieces, ~$4 each piece).

Price aside, the food was really good. Just be prepared to pay...

UPDATE 6/24...Stopped on father's day at 7:05pm on our way home. The young lady behind the bar told us that the kitchen was closed and we could not get any food but we could have a couple of drinks. So we ordered a cocktail and went to sit outside. This is where it went south. At 730 we watched this table get food, okay maybe they ordered before 7.. then at 7:41 another table at and began to order food! I know the people so they said hi and i brought up, i thought the kitchen was closed and their waitress goes, you could get food if you had a reservation. We'll that is very different from what we were told.

Needless to say.. my husband walked out and said we will never walk back in again. Very...

Went for dinner on Saturday night. Sat inside. Took 15 minutes to get waited on. Ordered ice tea with splenda and lemon. Waitress brought tea and splenda but no lemon. Took our order another 15 minutes later. My husband ordered an entree and was to receive a salad and rolls. Waitress just stood by the bar near the kitchen entrance. Another 15 minutes and no salad or rolls. We walked out extremely irritated after 45 minutes. We have a gift card that is useless now. We did not want to sit out on the patio because it was raining.
