What a great place! Stopped on our way through from Penn State. Awesome menu—the chef must be a creative yet fun spirit. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Our waitress was attentive and patient as we had trouble deciding as there were so many dishes that we wanted to try. Settled on the Whiskey Mac & Cheese, the Cheese Curds and a dozen Garlic Parmesan wings. The wings were excellent, all the food was great—nice hot temperature. And quick so far as the curds they were lightning fast. The Mac came with a salad which you had the choice of Caesar or garden (went with Caesar). The breading on the cheese curds has a tangy Cheez-it taste and the dipping sauce was tangy with a hint of soy sauce which really hit the spot. Portions were generous. What I loved: the waitress brought me a second unsweetened iced tea before I had the chance to ask her, the interior is intimately lighted, decor was entertaining and the dining area is a bit separate from the bar. What I didn’t love: it’s two hours from home and there’s so many things there that sound good! Recommended stop!

Always a great stop with our golf group after play! Thanks for the great service! We'll continue to return. And we did return - next time with a few more and Ashley was great server for a great time on the deck - good food, drink and fun times. Return visit months later -- same great service, nice food selections with daily specials. Friendly wait staff that team up to get the job done once again. I've been here 8 times or so, always with 12-20 group size and they just get it done time after time. Shrimp basket with hand cut fries and cole slaw top notch. Sorry for the run-ons to this review ... but an updated review for our golf groups 12th trip (at least) here has The Eagle maintaining quality friendly service and great food/drink.

I've been here a couple of times. This is a great restaurant in a small town. The interior is pretty cozy and nice. Nice place for a date night. There is a bar section and also a dining section. The service is good. They have a great selection of food to choose to. The food is great, and they have a large portion for a good price, also a great dessert. They have daily specials every day for food and drinks. They also have kids' menu. If you're driving by the area or even looking for a great place to eat, this place is a great choice. It's worth a drive.

I want to be clear this review is based from a takeout order on superbowl. Before I get into that, I have never had a bad experience or food when dining in the restaurant. This is one of our favorite establishments. But on Superbowl Sunday we ordered 100 wings to go. They were extremely busy and said they made over 4,000 wings today. We patiently waited. But when we got back to the house to indulge in the wings, they were really bad. The wings looked dehydrated and cooked well past done. When I say I have had tenderer beef jerky I am unfortunately not joking. They were borderline not edible. So small and just terrible. No other way to put it. We did call in, but they said unfortunately there was nothing they could do...

Let me remind you this is the only time we had bad food from here. We have left many five star reviews too. I just wanted to be sure to express this review as well considering nothing...

Well if you order wings Cajun ranch you might get hot ranch instead or just Cajun without ranch or whatever they decide to give you that day...usually get wings right 6 out of 10 tries on average and I still remain a customer hoping to get my order correctly sometimes...but order extra crispy the odds are a bit worse maybe 2 out of 10 times...if you eat inside the waitress might ignore you and help other customers until you become irrate th. I just ordered nachos which menu says made with cheddar cheese sauce and Monterey jack...I asked for no cheese sauce bring home they gave no cheese at all not even the jack cheese it was supposed to come with...my dog gets a good meal the...wings extremely small...definitely not chicken sized ..I believe they use pigeons or only source from...
