Read moreI've been to the White Magnolia's coffee trailer but never the actual cafe until today. The atmosphere is super clean cut and minimalist, which I really like. The service is great! Friendly barrista, very helpful and got us anything we needed. The food was awsome, I got a smash burger dripping with some kind of to die for sauce and loaded with caramelized onions... wow. I would come here just for those onions on a burger again! I also ordered lemonade very good but too much water and not enough lemon. More like lemon water, honestly. But hey they're still pretty new. And trust me, their other beverages are top notch....
Well, I had previously considered Sweet Baked to be one of my favorite Coffeeshops on the Planet. Unfortunately, this new version does not meet that standard. No ceramic coffee cups and the beautiful wood table is now in the back room. It has lost the intimate vibe that we had previously experienced. The service was OK and the bagels tasted fresh with delicious cream cheese. The unique location has the potential to be a destination artisanal CoffeeShop. Also I didn't realize when looking it up online before going that its more of a faith-based establishment, i.e. signs on the walls, people saying prayers before they eat, lots of Mennonite folks.
