We were invited to a preview experience prior to opening. What a joy to share in the tastes of South Africa here in Vermont. This restaurant brings the meat-forward, savory richness of South African braai culture, but with plenty of other savory sides and not-too-sweet desserts. I was impressed with the freshness of the ingredients and the "real food" aesthetic. Rather than the processed food that has become ubiquitous in the standard American diet, the fresh, natural ingredients of every dish were obvious and expertly prepared.
