Cozy Brewery Experience, but Underwhelming Beer.

During our recent visit to Sunday River Brewing Company, we had a mixed experience. The brewery itself is undeniably charming and has a delightful ambiance, but unfortunately, the beer failed to live up to our expectations.

First, let's highlight the positives. The brewery's interior was inviting and cute, creating a cozy atmosphere to enjoy drinks with friends or family. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which added to the overall pleasant experience.

However, when it came to the beer selection, we couldn't help but feel underwhelmed. We ordered a flight to sample a variety of their brews, but none of them truly stood out as spectacular or exciting. While the beers were decent and enjoyable, they lacked that wow factor we often seek when visiting craft breweries.

Regrettably, we didn't get the opportunity to try the food, so we can't provide any insight into that aspect of the establishment.

Worst food I have ever ingested. I don’t think I have ever been so disgusted and disappointed in my life. There was no flavor in anything i had ordered. The chicken sandwich was dry, and flavorless. The Cole slaw was wet and flavorless, (you know it’s bad when a restaurant can’t even make good slaw) my husband ordered the sliders, which had lobster on one of them and he crunched on a left over shell. I’ve never had onion rings that lacked such flavor in my life, i took two bites and should have sent it back. My husband managed to get it down, but my god, it was a struggle to watch. $45 dollars and I’m still hungry because it was honestly the worst food I have ever had. I really should have asked for a refund but I’ve never had to send anything back before. I felt nausea on the first bite. Truly the worst restaurant. Stopped in here recently, I tried both the Long Haul Lager and the Raspberry Wheat. Beer-wise I was not super impressed with either one. The Raspberry Wheat tasted very artificial, and the lager was decent but had many other lagers that are better. Honestly the highlight of my stop in here was the food. So, if you stop in give their beers a try, just don't set your expectations too high. More importantly though, get some food. Everyone in my group got something different and the portions were all very large and the food came out quickly. I tried the chicken fingers with fries and they were very tasty.
