They were very rude to me. They actually admonished me for sharing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the young lady at the window (right after I placed my order). I gave the young lady a Gospel tract for her to read. Her manager came out to my car and admonished me for sharing the Gospel.....especially since she was only 15 years of age. I told her that we live in a free country and there are no laws against sharing the Good News of the Gospel. I asked if I could speak with the owner. When I picked up my food the owner came out. He did not even want to speak with me. He did not want to hear my story of what happened. He basically just told me "to leave". So this is how Good News of Jesus Christ (I am His "ambassador" or representative) is treated at Tozier's? They could have just smiled and put the Gospel tracts in the garbage. But they chose to make a scene and come out to my car to admonish me and tell me never to do this again. So I was not warmly welcomed or thanked for my business. Just told to "leave". Not a nice place at all! I told the owner that he lost my business. If you love Jesus, then I encourage you to stay away from this Anti-Christ place. May this place 'go out of business' for how they mistreated me. I would like to share John 3:16 in my review since you are forbidden to speak about it there. It is a message of God's great love for us. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God loves us and we must show respect to His Word and to His ambassadors. I shake the dust off my feet from going to this restaurant. Let the 'Satanists' of Vermont go there. They will probably feel right at home. Stay away from these...
Read moreTozier's Restaurant appears to have indoor dining which I would have preferred. However, it was hard to tell if they did or didn't due to the signage out front.
I ended up going to the take out line and ordered 1 scoop of Black Main Bear in a cup. The ice cream was a bit grainy, but had an overall good flavor.
In addition, I ordered the Haddock plate to go. The fish was a good portion and well cooked. It was dipped in a batter and deep fried.
The fries that came with it were on the salty side, but cooked perfectly crisp. The served the fish on the top of the fries which made some of the fries slightly soggy. If you hate soggy fries. Order them on a separate plate. Overall the fries were crispy, but too salty for me.
I gave a score of three - I was leaning toward a 4- because the people taking and giving the orders were lackluster at best. I don't expect a lot, but a smile and a please and thank you would go a long way.
I say give this place a try. You might love it. I was satisfied...
Read moreAs someone that lives half the year near the Gulf Coast, I find it completely bazaar that the best seafood I eat comes from a little place in the middle of the woods in Vermont. It's always fresh and cooked perfectly. The portions are massive. The tartar sauce is unlike any other I've had and a perfect complement to the seafood. The staff are friendly, and the service is always great. The other night we flew into Logan and had reservations here, but because of flight delays we were going to arrive 30-45 minutes after the kitchen closed. We asked if we could place a take out order, and did so. When we arrived 45 minutes late, we found the kitchen had held up dropping our food until we arrived so it would still be hot! In that order I tried the chocolate mousse pie for the first time. I'm not a huge sweets fan, but that may have been the tastiest thing I've ever eaten. Highly...
