My husband and I stopped in here for dinner a few nights ago. We made a reservation and did not have any issues with being sat on time. The menu has a lot of your typical seafood offerings with a few extras added in. One thing that was a little disappointing about the menu was the lack of pricing in the cocktail section. We enjoy ordering cocktails sometimes, especially if it's a special occasion but when there isn't a price point for the cocktail menu we are less likely to indulge. I did get a cocktail, it was a bit disappointing- just tasted really watered down. When the bill finally did come, the drink was $10. Not a bad price for a cocktail, even if it was a little watered down but had we known they were at that price point before ordering we probably both would have gotten one instead of just me. As for the food, the lobster bisque was really good, the mashed potatoes were tasty, and the scallops had good flavor. My husband's steak was cooked to order but really fatty and chewy. It also had a strong charred flavor which overwhelmed the steak. We also shared a dessert. It was okay. Our service was probably the spotlight. The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. She was also very friendly. Overall, The experience wasn't bad or good. It was fine. I probably wouldn't go back but I'm not mad about the...

CDC guidelines not being followed BEWARE! My wife and I just spent our 17th wedding anniversary at Kingfish. I have been there once before and we had a pleasant time. This time around they did not follow the CDC guidelines for covid-19 . They knew ahead of time it was our 17th wedding anniversary. When the reservation was made I had asked for someplace in the facility a little more discrete so it could be more romantic. They sat people down behind us which was three feet away. The gentleman who is sitting behind me was literally an arm length away. We did not make a big fuss. When they brought our food to us I had asked them to give us a to-go box and our check. They seem surprised and asked why we were leaving so soon. I told them it was due to them not following CDC guidelines. They stated they were checked out by some facility that they are within those guidelines. Under my understanding unless you have separation between tables you need a minimum of 6 ft between people. My arm length is 3 ft maximum. You would have thought since the people were sat down after us, they would have asked them to move to a different table or offer another table to us. We were told that the owner was not there and there was nothing they could do for us. So we left due to me being diabetic, which I brought to...

Our first visit and I can assure you, it will not be our last! My wife and I can't believe we never knew about this hidden gem of such an excellent seafood restaurant before! Found it through a search on Google after our first choice was totally booked to make a reservation, it was our 44th wedding anniversary and we wanted to make it special! We'll, in retrospect, glad the other one was booked because Kingfish sure answered our call with not only available reservations, but more importantly with delicious, reasonably priced, well-prepared gourmet food, and absolutely excellent, friendly, and courteous service! My wife's lobster tail and filet mignon were tops and perfectly prepared, my sesame-seared tuna was succulent, perfectly-prepared and presented, and absolutely delicious! The coconut shrimp appetizer was probably the best we've ever had (and we've had a few in other places!). The creme broulle and carrot cake we had for dessert were to die for! All in all, great and wonderful dining experience at Kingfish, we certainly look forward to many more visits in the future to try other tempty dishes on their extensive menu! ...

My husband and I love this restaurant. We can't say enough good things about it. The food is fresh and delicious and the service is friendly and prompt. We recently used their private dining room for our wedding ceremony and dinner and it was absolutely lovely! We were very pleased with EVERYTHING. The service was OUTSTANDING and the food was amazing! Eric, Dev, and Monica (the wait staff) were such a pleasure to work with and we even had comments from guests about how wonderful and friendly they were. One guest even said, "it's so nice to have a wait staff that actually talks to you and doesn't just come by and grab your plate!" So many compliments about how delicious the food was....from appetizers to desserts. When we booked our special day to be hosted at Kingfish we had no doubt that our guests would have a wonderful experience and they certain did! Kingfish delivered above our expectations.

High quality unassuming diverse restaurant I had heard Kingfish as an excellent restaurant, so I went in with high expectations. Overall, they met my expectations. There’s plenty of parking with a lot adjunct to the building and one across 12th street. The building and ambiance is nice. Seating was quick with reservations. Quite a few rooms comprised the restaurant but only the main dining room was open. The main dining room was busy and there seemed to be only 3 servers. They did a great job of keeping up and there was little to no wait. The wine list was varied. The menu was seafood bias, but there was something for everyone. I had the ahi tuna and peanut noodles. Peanut noodles they were. There may have been too much peanut, as its flavor overpowered everything else. The coconut shrimp were great. A nice mid-level restaurant with a wide variety of food prepared and presented well. We will return.

Great service, beautiful decor. Martinis were mixed to perfection, delicious. The clams were very good. Calamari average, small portion. Dragon roll was very good. Steak cook well nice sized. Portion for the seafood cioppino was skimpy for the $38 price tag. 4 clams, 4 shrimp and a small lobster tail. I ordered the sesame encrusted tuna for my entree and asked for it to be cooked medium and really browned on the outside. It came out raw. It was a nice piece of tuna, but way too raw. Dishes should be cooked according to patrons taste not the chef. Not very impressed with food here. Plenty of parking. Handicap ramp for entry.
