We used Kim's Pure Pastries for our wedding and I can not get over how delicious these baked goods are. It is a bad stigma, but sometimes organic and allergy friendly food lacks the taste and oomf that you'd hope for, but NOT Kim's pastries. We were blown away by how delicious everything tasted, and the process was amazing. She is a truly lovely lady and did so much to make our dreams come true! For our wedding we had an almond cake with berry frosting for cutting and the bridal party, and had individual rhubarb brownies, lemon cloud cookies, and strawberry donuts for our guests. They were beyond incredible. When we tasted the pastries, I fell so in love with the lemon cloud cookies. Kim went out of her way to set some aside labelled just for me so I could freeze them after the wedding and enjoy them throughout the next few months. This woman bakes with pure love and you can taste it in her delicious pastry. You can taste the high quality ingredients and delicious flavor combinations (out of this world). Natural, organic, even some are gluten free and you’d never know it. The carrot cake is phenomenal. Love her sugar cookies, cowgirl cookies, fluffy coffee cakes with seasonal fruits baked in (same with her scones). Too many yummies to list! She even bakes for dogs and Anyone who knows MY dog and/or has tried to feed him a treat knows he will only eat the organic cookies I bake at home for him from scratch. That was of course, until he tried Chop Chop’s Chow (cookie crumble treats for dogs) from Pure Pastry!!!! He gobbled up every crumb I put in front of him I couldn’t believe it! We used Kim/Pure Pastry for our wedding desserts and were beyond happy. We were originally drawn to her use of local and organic ingredients and were instantly sold once we sampled some pastries. The quality and flavor of all the products are amazing. Kim helped us select an assortment of mini desserts in seasonal flavors, all fantastic, and made a wonderful cake. She was great to communicate with throughout the entire process and was sure to keep us updated on what was seasonal, available edible flowers from her garden for decorations, etc. The wedding desserts were a hit, and the fact that so many of her products happen to be gluten free and even dairy free was a bonus.
