I've long said that nobody goes to McDonald's for the food. You go because generally it is a consistent experience. You expect it to be clean, the dining room, kitchen and bathrooms.
This store meets none of those expectations. The owners and general manager must be completely gone from this store. In our last three visits here we've not come close to what we expect from a McDonald's. It really is bad. And that's a shame because a lot of money was spent recently on a remodel, and it has a tremendous potential just off the Interstate, with literally no competition.
On this last visit there was one employee working. Several more were not. An off duty employee or friend was taking up space at the counter. A female employee was talking to her, not working. This young lady was quite unkempt - barely in uniform, facial jewelery, colored hair and was overweight to the point where it appeared to interfere with her ability to bend and do her job. As the only customers IN the store (long drive thru line) we waited close to 15m to be helped. During this time my family, four of us, rotated turns to use the restroom.
The restroom was filthy. Really filthy. It had a film that indicated this was a job not regularly done. Napkins lied the floor by the door. No paper products, only air dryers, were in the store. This indicates to me that regulars, and likely employees, know to bring a napkin in for the door. And then they drop it on the floor.
We ordered just four medium Shamrock Shakes. I believe we got smalls. In 2017 McDonald's began using a shake of green sugar on top. Not at this location however. They were not filled evenly with either product or whipped cream. The shake itself was slightly runny as if the machine wasn't operating properly.
A family came in behind us to order food. I literally cringed thinking that they would be ingesting something being prepared there. (They had not yet ordered when we left.)
The manager on duty just begged her crew to "stop taking orders and get this food out!" It simply wasn't busy. The girl who wasn't working was complaining about her break - the manager told her it took her too long to do the restocking she simply couldn't break. Napkins and lids lay on the floor. Things were sticking out of the cabinets, like a sleeve of coffee lids, touching the floor. I would have fired this girl.
It was obvious the current owner and general manager did not have a clue how to run a restaurant, or had not shown enough interest in this one to properly train employees and have procedures to help the store run.
An inspector likely would have closed this restaurant down. The dining area and drink area where we had to get straws (they didn't give them to us with the shakes) was in disarray. I wish I had taken pictures. After this experience, we will not...

12/2/21 update: this place can never seem to get an order right... ordered two McChickens with only mayo and American chesse and a medium fri. Fries are cold taste stale and unsalted... on top of that I asked for no lettuce, so what do they do add even more lettuce to it. Only good time to eat is in the morning... they know what their doing and the order is right 99.9% of the time
12/30/21 3:58pm update: Today decided to give McDonald's a chance. Ordered a mcchicken and a large fri. The people working the drive thru were super nice and polite. I pulled up to the 1st window paid and went to the 2nd window to get my food and no one was there. I figured that's fine I can wait no hurry. About 2 mins pass by a young woman opens the window and basically shoved the food in my face doesn't say a word I grabbed it and she turned away and closed the window. How rude can this place be? Serious people you need to boycott this location and quit giving them your money. All they do is mess it up and be rude anyways

Read moreWe went through the drive through at 9:20am on April 13th, the woman taking orders seemed slightly confused but as we pulled away it seemed that she understood that we had one mobile order and one drive through order. Once we arrived at the window to pick up our food, the mobile order didn’t exist, we told the man that we put the order through and that the lady taking orders acknowledged it, to which his response was more confusion and after telling him multiple times that we put the order through his best response was “sorry I don’t see it man”. So after more arguing since the order was paid for and it was owed to us the woman that took the order starts walking towards the window and assuming neither of us knows Spanish starts blurting out words to her coworker, one of them referring to my friend as a pendejo. After she realized that we understood what she said she proceeds to slam the window closed on us. The man finally opens the window and gives us our order with no acknowledgment. This McDonald’s should work on training employees to actually understand how to do their job and not cuss customers out in a different language when they screw...
