Diner Between The Dams — Restaurant in Big Prairie Township

LAUNDROMAT I've never been in the diner. Behind the diner there is a teeny tiny laundromat.

CONS: BARE MINIMUM • the change machine ONLY takes $1 bills. •There are only 5 washers and 5 dryers so if you have more than 2 or 3 loads you're better off going somewhere bigger. •ONLY cold water wash cycles are available. Not warm, COLD water only. •There is 1 small ish kitchen table to fold on. •While waiting for laundry to finish there's 1 chair so if you bring a friend someone is sitting on a lap or hopefully you can sit in your car (but standing is a solid option too). • No bathroom

PRO: LOW COST •Cold water washers are only $2 a load. Dryers are only $1 and their cycles are long and hot.

SUMMARY: It's a VERY bare bones, kind of low budget laundromat. But if you live close, only have a couple loads and already have everything you could need (quarters, detergent, fabric softener, etc.) AND looking for super affordable (like me) - this is the...

Some people leaving 3 and 4 star reviews with nothing but good things to say so why not 5 stars if you loved the place??? Now for my actual review... Large portion sizes and decent prices = great value. The food tastes great, I had an ultimate omelet and just barely finished it; very filling. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. Talk about a high quality diner that you will leave most satisfied. Great proportions that leave you full like thanksgiving dinner. So glad I was abke to stop and enjoy great service with fresh hot coffee on the ready. Great tasting I might add as they will fill your mug to go even. Was looking for their taco tuesday I heard so much about from some of the locals. However, found it to be pulled pork dinner tonight. No worries as its a fav of mine as well.
