I met to get to this a while ago. My family and I traveled through Ennis/Cameron MT earlier this fall. We stayed and ate at few places in the area. As a business owner myself, I feel it is important to share my experience. First, we ate there a few times, the first time my wife meat was raw, not cooked. I may a remark, and the staff was rude! We figured, everyone has a bad day, left. ||||We came back later in the week and our last time. I found a long black hair in my food. The beer was not cold and tasted old, and the bartender needs to learn how to mix drink because there was not consistency, they were either to weak or too strong (same drink). The restroom was dirty, someone crap all over the toilet. The bartender was very unfriendly, rude and it took forever to get drink. I think the biggest turn off is the group of gentleman sitting next to us, they were nice but smelt like cow manure. I had a hard time trying to figure out if I was eating in a barn or restaurant.||||Save yourself and drive 10 miles up to Ennis, MT. Friendly people...

The power went out in the middle of the night, tried contacting the staff in the morning but could not get a hold of anyone, so was left with no electricity, running water, or toilets until checkout time.

Staff came a couple minutes after checkout time and without apologizing or even mentioning the power outage told us to leave. After further discussion and waiting for the owner to show up for 30 minutes, with bad temper, they refused to provide any kind of compensation or extend checkout time to get electricity working.

From their own words, this happens often and they are not willing to do anything about it.

Horrible experience, avoid if possible and save money for a place that provides services which...

It is a nice place to stay with the exception of don't expect anything to come up or you won't get refunded! We had to cancel 2 out of 3 nights and got refunded half the money back. They said if they could rent the cabin out we would get a full refund. They booked the cabin for 2 nights and refunded us for only 1 of the nights. Both my husband and my brother called at different times to see if it was booked for both nights, both got the same answer that yes they were fully booked until the next week! So if you stay here make sure you dont have to cancel or you are out your money! Greedy people own this place and from what I have read on their Facebook page its the locals and their friends who give...

+ Charming wooden-style houses equipped with a kitchen offer a comfortable stay. A bar, a small restaurant and a convenience store are located right there. Everything is decorated in the same style. The scenic surroundings with mountain views add to the attraction. - Check-in is possible until 20:00, the kitchen in the restaurant was open until 21:00, which is not very convenient due to location of the Salon far from the town. It is better to have your own products, considering that the house has a kitchen

This is a great place to stop! Steve is super accommodating and an absolutely great guy. Welcome to us with open arms and we ended up hanging out with him for most of the evening after we had dinner. The saloon is cool and the country fried steak was on point. The cabins definitely have a shorter ceiling, but they are very cozy and the view of the sun coming over the mountains on the front porch of the cabin in the morning was fantastic Thanks so much for being so great!
