We came here for a birthday party. I called to reserve some space for Our party. I called the day before to confirm how many were to be expected. I asked all of the questions including if it was OK to bring drinks, food, cake, pricing etc.. I was told all that was fine. The day of the party we come in to take our stuff in, and immediately one of the workers told us drinks are not allowed. She was very rude. When we walked in, she said they were waiting for Another party. So we were pushed in the corner with a very small table, and nowhere to put the cake or pizza. About an hour and a half into the party, I saw my phone was ringing and they were calling me. I go speak to the ladies and question them about why I’m being called. They asked my name, and they looked at the schedule, and they booked me for two parties. They did not update the information when I called the day before to confirm, So we were stuck in his corner for no reason. I Was told that each person who paints pays for their own painting. There was no party fees to include it altogether. So that was what was agreed on. So Our guests paid for their paintings. But then some different guests came up to me and told me that this gal told them not to worry about it and that the party is going to cover it. This was news to me, As when I called them before Scheduling I asked right away how much it would be for a party to take place. I was told that whoever paints, pays individually. When I got this news, we went to pay for our paintings, Which were only two small ceramics, And I was given an outrageous total that I was not expecting, Considering I was told paintings were sold individually. We told them what I was told over the phone, and they became very irritated and very rude. They did not care. After we paid the total, they were upset because we did not tip them due to bad service. This girl turns to the other worker, while we were standing there, and made a comment “ Can you believe that we don’t get a tip after this? What the hell?” Very unprofessional. We will not be...
Read moreShort story: coffee is great, staff is great, we highly recommend this place!!
Long story: We were passing through on our way to our daughter who was having a baby and needed a coffee real bad.
While they were making our coffees I used the restroom. With my daughter in labor (and us trying to make it to the birth) I left my brain somewhere along the freeway and consequently my purse in their bathroom.
We left with our AWESOME coffees and heading towards my daughters place (still 5.5 hours to go!). Two hours into our drive I received a call from the barista letting me know they had my purse.
Great. Now what. If I turn around that would add four hours onto our trip. I explained our situation.
She then called the owner and then called me back. They offered to keep my purse locked up in a safe so I could pick it up on my way back home!! This was a little scary of a thought as they were strangers but I also didn’t want to risk missing my grand baby’s birth!
We decided to risk it and made it to the hospital as she was having him. I made it! Had I had to turn around I would have missed the birth by two hours.
I am very grateful to the owner and will frequent this business every time I pass through to visit my daughter and her family.
By the way. It...
Read moreI absolutely love Yellowstone Coffee and Canvas!! I am a regular and have grown to love the diversity of this place! They have ceramics, pallets, Montana shaped wood signs, all different size canvases, wood panels, arm knitting, soap feltting class, food and tons of different drinks to choose from and more! The gals working here have been so amazing and have helped me grow in my painting abilities. Not to mention, I show them an idea of what I’d like to paint and they help me achieve the outcome!! It is my serenity when I need it and I’m so thankful to have them so close to me. I recommend checking this place out and trying their strawberry banana smoothies while painting whatever you like/love to paint or even just relaxing in their lounge area to enjoy a cup of Joe to playing a game...
