Don’t walk. RUN to Chet & Emil's, Inc. for the best damn broasted chicken you will ever find. My mother-in-law cleaned the bones off on her plate. It was that delicious. Let’s start with the broasted potatoes. OMG! Do you see the BUTTER on them? They must slice up and entire potato and drop it into the broasted. No ā€œwedgeā€ fries masquerading as broasted potatoes. And the dang coleslaw? Creamy, with just the right notes of vinegar. This is my new favorite coleslaw in the area! And finally the main attraction: the chicken. Hot, and crunchy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. I hate wasting food, so I always get the two-piece meal, all white. I have yet to leave hungry. If you walk - and don’t RUN - to Chet & Emil’s, we cannot be friends. UPDATE: we went there again tonight to use a very generous gift certificate based on my last review of Chet & Emil’s. As always, the meal was fantastic but this time, I also tried an old fashioned and let me just say these people know how to old fashion. We topped it off with a piece of caramel brownie cheesecake. I know it sounds like a lot but it was really good. The cook and waitress helped us out by posing for a picture with me. I know they thought it was weird, but I just really like the food there. As Jenny and I walked out the door, one of our bartenders came out after us and handed us two bottles of old fashion mix, and a set of directions on how to make it the Chet & Emil’s way. Next time? I’ve got my eyes on a t-shirt.

I was here with a large group. Started off in the bar for drinks and "Oh What Fun!: It was mostly our group but several regulars were there and they were fun and engaging. This is a family owned business and they know how to deliver fun and food. They were busy, but made time to talk which always makes me feel welcome. They are known for their Wisconsin Old Fashions. I had a whiskey old fashion with sweet and sour (I'm complicated) and it was so good, had 2! For dinner we had the best fried chicken with light crispy skin (my fav), mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, the creamiest cole slaw, and dinner rolls. Will definitely make another stop that way, maybe to sub on their Monday night bowling team!

Food was delicious and service was amazing! The bartender today went above and beyond with an act of kindness. Our family stopped in while on a snowmobiling trip. Despite wearing good gloves my fingers were freezing so the bartender told us where the gas station and dollar general were and said they would probably have some hand warmers. Being from out of town we appreciated his suggestion. We then enjoyed our delicious hot chocolates and broasted chicken. Then, just before we had finished our meal the bartender walked over to us with some packs of hand warmers! Such a kind and thoughtful gesture! We will definitely be back on our next snowmobile trip. Thanks again!

I've been to Chet & Emils šŸ“šŸ”šŸ— several times throughout my childhood and continuing now at age 40. It has ALWAYS exceeded expectations! Today I stopped in to have the Broasted Chicken special for lunch ($11.50/Large 4pc) The price Cannot be beat or compared to! The food was Excellent!!! And I have leftovers I added to a rice mix today for lunch at work tomorrow.🤤 The server/waitress I had was Jayden, 19yo, whose been there for 2yrs šŸ¤©šŸ˜šŸ’ÆšŸ™šŸ‘ She was such a ray of Sunshine šŸŒž Polite, caring, respectful, helpful, and despite being really busy.....checked-in often to make sure I had everything I needed! It'd be unfair to say she's my favorite because ALL the waitresses there are Amazing that I've experienced thus far. But Jayden definitely made my day better with her upbeat personality and positive attitude! THANK YOU 😁 The only downfall is the smaller booths are kinda cramped. Tables offer more room, but being just me there, I didn't want to take up unnecessary space. I HIGHLY recommend Chet & Emils for a great meal and atmosphere you will enjoy The Most, and not walk away still feeling hungry or...

We've always heard this place is great, I beg to differ!!!! We came in at 4:06pm, only 1 table of people were in the dining room and very few in the bar area. We ordered our drinks, appetizers and food at 4:15. It is now past 5:15 and we watched at least 5+ tables sit, order and get served their food. Still nothing except our drinks and brown salads. Our waitress tried apologizing a couple times in the hour we sat, always saying it should be soon. The last time she came, @5:10 she said they were STARTING our order!!! This is absolutely HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! On a Saturday that wasnt busy, I'd really hate to see a full diningroom!! We watched another full table walk out earlier because they weren't even acknowledged! For a restaurant that has been well known for so many years, It was definitely very disappointing. Our table of 5 finally gave up and left, without eating. Thanks for ruining our evening...
