A local institution. The Krispy Kream has always been there. People don't know Belsano but they know the Krispy Kream. The super k burger is really good. My favorite is the fried cauliflower with cheese. And they have a ton of different ice cream choices. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing through town. The new owner has started having events like music and car cruisins. I think that is a great addition to our little community and it's going to help build connections in the community. If you have driven along route 422 in Indiana county you have passed this iconic ice cream place. We stop almost every time when traveling on that road for ice cream. After returning from a trip, we were hungry and since there is very little choice to eat, we decided to stop and try the food. The burger was good, not great, a frozen patty that was cooked to dry. The sauce and accompanied lettuce, and tomatoes were fresh. The burger was cooked to order. Don’t order the fries! Tasty they were not. Bottom line, if you are hungry, give it a try. Ice cream isn't very good... I gave the place the benefit of the doubt and came back three different times and tried different things... unimpressed is the most polite way I can put it. This last time I got a large float that was mostly all foam and hardly any ice cream or soda... and very expensive for what you do get... definitely won't be going back. Very disappointed.... figured a place with the good reviews would be far better than what it was... definitely better ice cream and service at other...
