I'm furious! Months ago I bragged on this McDonald's service, but whoever it was who thought it was a good idea to remodel, and split the drive-thru line to two call-boxes has ruined it! One line splits into two, and I cannot count how many times I've been skipped, in favor of someone who JUST drove up, at the other call-box... No matter which side I choose! It happens ALL the time... But TODAY... Today was too much! I pulled up to call-box 2, behind one car... Then I was skipped four times for call-box 1... So the guy who had rolled in behind me, backed up and moved to call-box 1 also, while I was trying to be a patient customer... And of course his order was taken and he was now in front of me... Then they took the order of the guy behind HIM.... So, angrily I went around the building to get in the line that WASN'T being ignored... And when I get back around, NOW they're taking the order of the guy at call-box 2! And since now they WERE FINALLY alternating between the two call-boxes, by the time I got to order, I had been skipped over EIGHT TIMES! EIGHT TIMES! LIKE I HAVE ALL DAY TO SIT IN THE MCDONALD'S DRIVE THRU! And I don't blame the staff! They are always pleasant to deal with, and I truly believe they're doing their best! I don't blame them! I blame whoever thought it was a good idea to add another call-box. And what was the point of that, anyway? "Hey, let's add some complexity to a perfectly simple system! Forget first-come-first-serve; Split the line into two, and then merge it back into one line again!" How is that helping? It doesn't speed things up, I can tell you that for ** sure! It's not improving their accuracy! It's not resulting in fresher food! So WTH is it supposed to do? Is it just to give more opportunity to ruin your customers' experience? Because that's the ONLY thing that I can see that it has done! And some corporate know-nothing is responsible... AS ALWAYS!
I'm furious! McDonald's should be glad we don't have many fast food options in this town, because I am BEYOND fed up with this drive-thru!
Edit: Aaaand... If you're planning to DoorDash from here... You'd probably better order EXTRA food, because if my experience is anything to go by, they're PROBABLY going to fail to send something... And then someone in your group isn't going to have anything to eat. And if that person happens to be a small child, then you're going to have to hear them cry about their missing Happy Meal while the others eat... OR I guess you can make everyone else wait, and let THEIR food get cold while you call and try to get the missing food sent to you somehow... But who's going to deliver that? ... OR I guess you can put all the kids in the car and drive to the restaurant and get it... But of course the only reason you spent the extra money (which you can't REALLY afford to spend) to have it DoorDashed in the first place was because you CAN'T drive all the kids to the restaurant right now! So I guess you'll have to split up the food you did get, so everyone is EQUALLY disappointed... But then that doesn't solve the problem of the missing Happy Meal toy! So... Maybe just order double of everything, so everyone ends up with something to eat. .... But of course, who has the...
Read more*left a review 3 years ago, and this place has only gotten worse! This trip we literally sat in line FOREVER! Had a very simple order, a number 7 cheeseburger meal, a 6 piece happy meal and then an additional large drink. We finally get to the window to get our food and was asked what our order was, we told them, quickly received our food but no drinks. We told them we had 2 large teas and a child's tea. We watched her fill one large tea and then knock it over, no big deal. Was told they had no more tea so we said coke would be fine. They gave us the two large cokes but no child's drink. Then proceeded to ask for our receipt after we told them we were only missing one drink. We sat there forever and when they finally gave us the drink it has zero ice. The food was disgusting, and my son wouldn't even eat his happy meal. The fries were old and reheated, tasted like cardboard and were not able to be eat. Chicken nuggets were covered in all kinds of black particles like they had been fried in old nasty grease. Also had to throw out my large fry because they were old. This place is terrible.
Not the best McDonalds. Fries are usually old, or not cooked all the way and soggy with grease. The workers at this location are awful as well. There are a few that are friendly but most of them are just rude. And about every other trip our order is messed up. Go today, order some burgers, fries, and 3 large teas. After we ordered the teas we ordered a 4 count nugget happy meal with tea. Get to the first window to pay, the lady reads the order back so fast you cant understand her. Go to the window to get the food and only receive 3 large teas. We told them we didn’t receive the small tea for the happy meal. She goes on to tell us that an extra tea wasn’t rang up. I said it’s not extra his happy meal came with a tea. Then the lady who took the order came over and was smarting off saying I just read their order back to them and it was right. We was told that she only rang up 2 large teas instead of 3, and then rang the happy meal up with a large tea! I said why would she do that? We clearly ordered 3 teas before the happy meal was even ordered. Then it was ordered and she took it upon herself to size the happy meal tea up to a large. All they did was argue with us about it even though it was their mistake. Never offered to ring us up another tea or anything. I finally just drove off. Terrible...
Read moreThe store has not been updated in many years. It looks verily new. The staff is personable . There is a quaint in-door play ground. The restrooms are the cleanest around. Short staffed, because it is the lowest paying company in that town. Seems to be two main manager's, they both are friendly to customers; but, noticeably downgrading the lower level employees that work so hard- to make their store the best in town.
Food orders have a 98% accuracy rate. Burgers are always cooked. Cheese is rarely melted though. Crispy chicken biscuit was raw. This was 1 negative food experienceexperience in a decade. Fries are always hot. This stores food safety standards are top notch.
Coke-a-Cola is sometimes flat. Tea is always good. McDonald's all around the globe has the cleanest water filter through tap. At this location it looks too clean, and makes me want to sit down and enjoy my beverage, when I drive- thru.
Over all, it is a great place that has a wholesome feel like family do. Manager's act like crazy uncles and aunts ranting and barking orders. The shift managers are like the mom and pops helping and encouraging staff on good jobs done. Then there are the working staff that makes the store, food and restrooms look great. Like little minions, working hard and trying to do good by being kind. Overall, even with moments, this is the best and cleanest McDonald's in the state; and, maybe...
