Healing Springs Country Store — Restaurant in Blackville

Boboa tea was fantastic. The service was excellent. Only two women working the cafe, so please be patient. The wait is truly worth it. They make the food with love and make sure everything you ask for is cooked or prepared properly. Seating is limited. We did sit at the chalk board menu/ prayer request bar. It was the most cozy welcoming place I have been to in a long while. I pray that God continues to give the strength and joy while they are there to serve us. We also bought items... get the apple cider 😋 completely delicious. Also we got the grape juice, honey bear and jar of honey, we got 3 gallons of that granny apple cider I mentioned above. That cider will make a wonder fall gift. Also we got some pens, and a few other items. From the café my husband got a chilli hotdogs and I got the turkey club with toasted sourdough bread. The food was excellent. The sandwich was huge, and I split it with a friend. We had roast beef with provolone, lettuce, and tomato, and I put banana peppers and pickles on my part. I drank a wonderful gingerale out of a green glass bottleThey do serve them on separate plates if you split them. I bought blackberry cider, seedless blackberry jam, and fig jam. The service was great. A man and woman making the food appeared Amish or Mennonite. The woman taking the orders and young man behind the cash register were of Asian descent. All nice people. The only thing lacking was "the store." There wasn't much to choose from. I was hoping for more homemade Amish bread and casseroles to bring home with me. Came to the Healing Springs Country Store this past Saturday for the first time. I had heard a lot of good things about the food and the service from my Sister and Brother In Law who are regular visitors there. We stopped in and purchased a few things, then ordered some Hot Dogs before heading down to see the Healing Springs itself. The Hot Dogs were FANTASTIC ! and the Lady and Gentleman that took our order and made the food were extra nice people. We loved the entire trip down there that day, and it will definitely not be our last visit there. My wife and I are planning to return soon and bring our grandchildren with is.
