The Meal That Made Me Question My Loyalty to Tacos Let’s start with the chips and dip situation—holy guacamole no guac necessary. That spinach-artichoke dip was hotter than my ex’s temper and twice as satisfying. The salsa? Chunky, bold, and not afraid to slap your tongue with flavor like it owes it money. Then came the bacon-wrapped jalapeños. If you ever wondered what love tastes like wrapped in salty perfection and delivered with a spicy kiss—this is it. Cream cheese cooled the heat just enough to keep me from sobbing in public (barely). Now for the main event: those 10oz ribeye and strip steaks were grilled with the kind of precision that makes you wonder if the cook sold their soul for grill marks that perfect. Juicy, seared, and stacked with caramelized onions and mushrooms that tasted like they moonlight as flavor ninjas. And the mashed potatoes? Forget side dish—they were the emotional support carbs I didn’t know I needed. Finally, the cake. Looked like a Barbie dream house and tasted like it filed a restraining order on all other desserts. Fluffy, pink, and sweet enough to convince me that maybe—just maybe—I deserve nice things. Final Rating: 10/10 — Would cancel dinner plans with friends just to eat it all again solo.

We went to eat after the Mangum snake hunt. 1st time in a couple years. It used to be really amazing food. They were busy as soon as the door opened. Their fried pickles were pretty good. I think your food should come out together, but they overcooked my husbands steak, so had to redo it. So mine was served 1st. I had the sirloin tips. They weren’t the waste of money. Sweet potato wasn’t cooked completely & the tips were over cooked & r way to small cut. Looked more like fajita meat. I did eat the onions but left the rest. Just nasty... They don’t serve the little loaves of bread anymore either. I did have a blueberry mojito & it was really good. Best part of the whole meal for me. My husbands steak came out good at about the same time I was done. Really sucks when place don’t serve the meal together. We won’t be going back.

Staff very friendly.....the wait for the food was a while, and by a while I mean, they brought out my wife's appetizer, she ate it all, they refilled our drinks, then they brought out her salad, which she picked through, they filled my drink again after I drank it to 1/4 empty.....then they brought out my wifes main dish. I had the ribeye steak medium rare which does not take long to cook at all....so my wife was served her entire meal, her appetizer, and refilled her drink once before I got my steak. The texture of my steak was outstanding, cooked med. rare to perfection, however it had enough salt on it that it could have given me a coronary. I mean WOW.....I let my wife taste a piece to see if I was just being picky....when she chewed it she looked like a 2 year old who just tried a lemon slice for the first time.....Normally I would have sent a steak like that back but after waiting soooo long for it I just bucked up and ate it. This visit was at 10pm at night as well....But I want to close this by saying again...the staff was very polite, and friendly. The wait for my food, bringing all of my wifes meal to her before mine was ready so we could eat together, and the saltiness of my steak is why I gave this place...

In all our years here we had heard stories but never went, so decided to give it a try. I mean people do exaggerate sometimes. Well, they were open less than 30 minutes with only a few people in the place. Hostess got us to a seat way in the back room and said she would send the waitress over. Read the menu and waited, read it again and waited some more, and 20 minutes later, still no waitress. No one even came into the back room, no one even walked by the door to signal. They apparently forgot about us and there was another group already in the room wehn we were seated. Memorized the menu, its very basic but I have not heard any personal recommendations that might justify the prices. At work everyone said the food was to salty and everyone seemed to have problems getting their order correct. But we thought we would give it a try. We all finally just got up and left. As we all walked out, they actually thanked us for coming, they still had no clue we had not been served. Drove south 10 miles to Altus and stopped at the first steakhouse we came to. No problems and everything was great there. Disappointed, but we will never go back again. Better service and prices elsewhere and maybe...
