Went through the drive-through. It looked like they were getting ready to close; I was the third car back and they turned off the lights. They were still helping the couple of cars in front of me, so I waited, figuring if they close and don't serve me, no big deal. I got up to the window, ordered a small strawberry sundae with caramel and cookie dough, whip cream, and a cherry. Easy order. I pull out, and they close, so I was the last customer. What they gave me was vanilla ice cream with strawberry pieces underneath it in a cup,, with that gross strawberry liquid topping all over the top, and no caramel. I mean, just don't serve me if you're going to be miserable about it. It looks like mostly high school age kids working there (a young guy took my order and a brunette girl was making my order). If you young adults go about your business like this for your lives, it's going to be a miserable ride for you. Hackettstown NEEDS a place like this !! No, Dairy Queen is NOT anything like this great place for Fantastic Ice-Cream Cones! A quiet stretch of Route 94 makes this a relaxing place to pull over for some Dairy Treats. They sell Hood Ice Cream I believe, but whatever it is, the Maple Walnut in a Sugar Cone is My Favorite! Tons of cool flavors and multiple choices make choosing a time-consuming event. Funny pricing thing happened to me recently though - One time a young girl charged me $4.46 for a large (3 scoops), the next time a young man charged me $4.00 Even for the exact same cone - and the Last time I believe it was The Owner, he charged me $3.85 for the same large Maple Walnut Sugar Cone.
