Such a great spot to stop and get breakfast or lunch whenever in the Blairtown area, especially when biking along the Paulenskill Valley Trail. Stopped in for lunch on my latest visit on a Saturday afternoon while biking the trail. With outside and inside dinning options available, as my ride was nearing its ended, the air-conditioned inside was a great way to cool down on a hot and humid summer day.

Service is always great with friendly wait staff that always seem to work together to make sure the customers are happy! On today's visit, my server was busy and someone else noticed my cup was empty and offered to refill my drink. Later when my food came out, instead of waiting for my server to finish with another table, my food came out as soon as it was ready by another server.

I ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich (fried onions, cheese, au jus, on a hard roll) with a side of coleslaw and enjoyed the sandwich and coleslaw.

Food is always consistently good and I've never had a bad meal yet. Breakfast selection is pretty vast with many choices available.

Being next to a small airport/ gliderport, you can watch small planes taking off and landing, often towing gliders into the air. As you see them climb higher and higher, you will seem them separate as the glider soars around the airport skies and eventually you will see the plane land and the glider will soon follow suit. A great way to kill some time. Definitely worth the stop if you find yourself in the area and hungry for...

Had a tasty lunch at Donna's Runway Cafe today. Although small the restaurant oozes aviation ambiance. My wife and I ordered sodas, mozzarella cheese sticks and a Bonanza Burger. Service was prompt and attentive when every seat was occupied. They were out of marinara sauce and offered ranch instead which was no issue. The Bonazza burger is a 12 oz burger and was nicely cooked to medium as we requested. However the bun is rater big making the meat to bun ratio our of whack. Otherwise the deli mustard and mayonnaise were premium products and added to the overall flavor. The only surprise was when we received the bill we noticed we were charged for each of the fountain soda refills. We would have appreciated being advised that each refill was an additional $2 each. It's been years since I was charged for each fountain refill at a sit down restaurant. That was the only thing that took away from an otherwise...

Flew in here for breakfast, as I have a few times now, and I'm always impressed. I didn't have to wait at all, which was surprising for a beautiful Saturday morning, and considering I have had to wait a bit in the past. The food and service is average- nothing to complain about, however this restaurant is very unique and special because of its ties with aviation. There are very few airport-based restaurants within about 100 mile radius of this one that are worth flying into. If you're a pilot, flying in is easy and definitely worth the stop. If you're not a pilot, but are an aviation fan (or have kids who would appreciate the activity at this airport) as long as the weather is good, there will be plenty of aviation...

Hidden gem of a restaurant. I had a Turkey club and one of our group had a sub sandwich, both of which with what looked liked their own garden grown tomatoes. Delicious. Small family style eating, right on the grounds of the airport. The deserts and coffe were excellent. Blueberry pie made with local blueberries was awesome. Their coffe cakes were very special and fresh. Everything was fresh, really. Very friendly staff. Tucked away in a very scenic part of NJ, I highly recommend this off the beaten path eatery!

A very nice diner practically on the runway! I went there as passenger on a airplane from Morristown, on June 2023. The food was good, it was a very nice day and we decided to eat outside. The service was quick and we weren't rushed out, so we took some time and then we took off back to Morristown. I'll go there again next Saturday, but this time by car after have been to the Lakota Wolf Preserve.
