Mr. Cheezy’s and Authentic Mexican — Restaurant in Blanchard Township

My boyfriend and I went here on a Sunday. Dining area leaves much to be desired for eye appeal, but the service and food was excellent!! We ordered off of the Mexican dish menu and loved it. I had the steak fajita enchilada and it was perfect. 1 recommendation I'd make is, give customer an actual knife to cut their food and not a butter knife. I had stitches in my thumb from and injury that morning and cutting with a butter knife is not fun. The menu is rather extensive too. Reminds me of all the restaurants on tv shows that need help/rescued. Menu is lengthy and should be condensed to smaller size.

Also- it wasn't busy. There was a table with a family of about 7 there that appeared to be finishing their food and enjoying each other's company. Then there was us on other side of restaurant and an older couple walked in 20mins after us. PAY ATTENTION TO ALL OF YOUR CUSTOMERS. Not just the family in front of you! You refilled my boyfriends drink once before our food came. You never asked us if we needed anything while we ate because you were too busy paying attention to the other family.

Other than that I loved the food but from now on I would rather order my food to-go as nobody really deserved a tip except...

I unfortunately have to change my review of this place. We hadn't ordered since May of 2021. We ordered again tonight hoping for a better experience. HA!!! We placed our order at 5:47 of 2 family cheesy bead, and an 18 inch half ham half pepperoni... the order got here over an hour later at 6:52 and was given a quote time of 15-20 minutes lol we knew that wasn't possible so felt comfortable with a 45 minute wait. Order came wrong. we paid $41 for a 12 inch pizza and 2 cheesy!! We called and they said would deliver us another 12 inch pizza to make up for the mistake that call was placed at 6:54 and it has yet to show up!!! I am done!!!!! We finally called to find out where our order was... we asked to speak to the owner and he said our pizza was ready he was waiting on US to come get it....that the girl the messed up the order didn't tell him it was for delivery!!!! He said he would bring the pizza right out to us... Now, who wants a pizza that has been sitting out for over an hour?! We asked for the correct pizza delivered or our money back. We were hung up on......

I eat here often. I am not from Dunkirk, and actually live in a city with a lot of decent pizza places, but this place is awesome! It doesn't get much better than their calzones. Their hours are a bit weird, they're not open for lunch (which is a hige shame, because I'd order lunch frequently), but the food is great! A great family owned and operated pizza joint, unfortunately placed in the middle...
