My family orders from this location frequently. This time my husband tried to call in the order and immediately was asked if he could hold when the call was answered; okay, no prolem there - we figured they were busy. While on hold, the advertising recording mentioned a deal for: "1 Large, 2-topping Pizza for $7.99." The recording further stated that the caller (my husband) could stay on hold & wait for the CR to order it, or that he could "jump on line" & order it that way. When the CR came back on the line, he (my husband) asked for this particular deal. He was told that he couldn't order it over the phone, but would have to order on line to qualify for the deal. He told he, "Nooo. I just heard about it when I was on hold and it (the recording) said that I COULD order it over the phone. She said, "Let get you a manager," and put him in hold again. Ironically, he heard the exact same offer AGAIN, and he put it on speaker so that I could hear it also to make sure that he didnt misunderstand. He didn't! It DID say that he could stay on the line & order that particular deal whenever his call was answered. Finally, the manger came on the line. When he tried to order the same thing, she, TOO, said it could only be done online. In the middle of him explaining what he'd heard, the "Manager" HUNG UP ON HIM! When he called back, a gentleman answered the phone instead of either the Manager or the previous female CR. He listened to my husbands order, as well as his account if what had previously transpired. The young man then proceeded to verify that my husband's interpretation of the ad was correct, & said, "Yes, I see that here." Just as we thought everything was ok & that we'd FINALLY been connected with someone who had SOME sense of customer service, the "Manager" had to step in again, lol: When my husband ordered again and asked for the crust to be pan pizza, this said manager hollered in the background and said: "Is that the same guy that just called? Tell him he can't have it as a Pan Pizza." My poor husband - who was just fed up & disgusted at this flagrant lack of professionalism & customer service - just ordered the crust as hand-tossed and let it go. When I went online to see if there was any limit placed on which particular crust was ordered in conjunction with this specific deal, well, you can probably guess the outcome at this point...no, there wasn't. A customer could order hand-tossed, thin-n-crispy, or, (you guessed it!) PAN! One could even order the stuffed crust; it would just cost an additional $2. I've taken the time to post such a lengthy review because I am so outraged by the behavior of this, said, "manager." Whomever she may be, she needs to be fired, imho, for affecting the Blanchard franchise in such a negative manner...I've never encountered such rudeness in my life! And why?!?! Because she was told she was wrong about a Pizza Hut deal?!?! Gimme a freaking break! Because, as much business as MY family did there, we will NEVER use them again!...
Read moreUpdate to the message below - I called and asked to speak to the manager. I was on hold for nearly 20 minutes so I hung up and called again. The same man answered the phone immediately and when I told him who I was and that I was waiting to talk to the manager he hung up the phone up in my face immediately. How is this an acceptable employee? I was not rude or angry. I just wanted to speak to someone in charge about getting my pizza completely wrong. So I will be pursuing this further mainly because of the treatment I received in return.
Tonight was my last order from Pizza Hut in Blanchard. I order extra sauce and I don't even think they look at that. They also left off the pepperonis that I ordered. Also, they have gone up on their delivery fee to nearly $5. So now that they've gone up on their pizza prices you can add on a higher delivery fee plus your tip and they're not nearly as affordable as they used to be. It'd be okay if the quality was still there but it's just not anymore. The treatment over the phone call was far worse...
Read morePlease avoid this Pizza Hut and choose another location in the city. The girl who closed on August 8th, 2024, at around 10:27 PM, was unnecessarily rude. I placed my order expecting it to arrive by 10:02 PM, but I didn’t receive any calls or updates from the restaurant. When I called, I was told they had no drivers available and that I would either need to wait for DoorDash or come pick it up. I later learned that my pizza had been ready and just sitting there. Her attitude was uncalled for; how difficult would it have been to inform me about the situation? While I was trying to decide what to do, she asked, “You gonna come pick it up orrrr?” as if I had known all along that there was no delivery driver.
I understand that working in fast food is not the most ideal job; however, if you can’t maintain professionalism for the money they pay you, perhaps you should consider a different profession instead of being rude to a customer who was simply trying to order food. This was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced for no...
