In the middle of a long road trip I had an urge for a milkshake and almost immediately i see the Interstate sign with services listed and one of them says, 'Double Dip Soda Fountain' I was like.....wow that's is wonderful. Now on road trips i do not like pulling off the highway and then going down a road for more than a 1/2 a mile and I almost turned around however my desire for something cold and sweet was overwhelming (it is about 3 Miles from the Highway) From the outside it looked like it was going to be a 'Time Warp' once I walked in it was every bit the Time Warp and the milkshake became the least of my interest. I eventually ordered, cured my urge with a delicious milkshake and was on my way. Not sure If i will ever pass this way again but if I get anywhere close i assure you i will stop...

We arrived at 7:45pm on Sunday and they donāt close until 9pm. We could not get any milkshakes or malts because the only person there had already cleaned the machine and had put away the milk because they had to defrost the coolers. We also could not have any hot fudge because the person had already cleaned the warmer. Several flavors and toppings advertised on their menu were not available. There was a family of 5 that came in shortly after we had to order from a very limited menu and they ended up walking out because the person working had gone somewhere in the back and didnāt come to serve them.
