Don't come here if you use the mobile app. I was theeatened with the cops being called on me because I calmly and politely refused to cancel my order or move my car when they would not honor an in app order deal I already placed an order with and paid for.
I have screenshots of the deal, my order, my drive through code, my receipt and my card being charged. This meant nothing to them becuase they would not honor the deal. They asked that I cancel the order and place a new one without the deal. The deal was about half off and if I canceled the order i would have to wait 15 minutes before i could use a differnt deal in the app and who knows if they would honor that deal. Not to mention they have my money for up to 7 days to do with as they please while I wait for my refund, that seems fair.
I am done just accepting a loss of my money at no fault of my own due to corprate conglomerates purposely false advertising and bait and switching. This is not the first time this has happened at this location or others. The only reason it is going to be the last time is becuase I am no longer going to be a McDonald's customer.
It probably wont go anywhere but I'm going to be contacting my lawyer for false advertising. If any other restraunt that wasn't a chain had a price on their menu that was incorrect and a customer caught it, they would honor the menu price. Why is this situation any different. Maybe it will turn into a class action like Dollar General with deceptive pricing tactics.
I have been a loyal customer for decades and that will no longer be the case. I will express my dismay with all my friends and family, I will denounce your company on social media and I will do everything in my power to cost you every penny you have cost me over the years.
See you tomorrow with a sign that says "Dont eat here unless you support false advertising" and see you in court!
Thanks for the reply that lacks any kind of apology and gives me extra work...
Read moreMy favorite McDonald's. I like that they leave the soda machine on, from what i can tell the mcflurry machine is always working, they've never been out of stock of anything besides nether sauce, which is a limited time item anyway, the wait times are always very reasonable, they're always busy, the employees seem happy and like they're at least pretending to enjoy themselves, the bathroom is unlocked, the lobby is open til 11 p.m - 7-days a week, and the condiments including mustard salt and pepper are left out front for customers to help themselves. Other locations even down the street aren't this nice nor do they have what i mentioned above. If you have kids it seems like it's one of the few McDonald's left that has a play place. So, that's cool. The employees are friendly and polite. And my best friend from childhood met his wife here! They've been married for over 10 years and have a son. Wish they had outdoor seating, but otherwise a nice place to have lunch. Thank you all for your service, patience, and hard work. Without McDonald's. America just wouldn't be America. And frankly there'd be no place in my neighborhood to get an affordable meal if this place wasn't here. I don't have access to a kitchen where I live now and it's a blessing to have this restaurant within walking distance, and to be able to sit in peace while i have a safe, clean, affordable lunch. I've never gotten sick from their food. I've never been panhandled here. I don't see a lot of loitering. Some illegal activity in the parking lot, but even they don't bother the customers here like some neighborhoods. It's like a slice of McHeaven coming here! I couldn't speak more highly of this location. I can't imagine the amount of work it taks to maintain this level of integrity. Bravo, McDonald's of Milwaukee St. I hope your district manager sees this and allocates more money to increase your salaries and hourly wages because y'all deserve...
Read moreI understand that McDonalds has a limited menu in the late night hours. However I’ve never had an experience where they didn’t serve ice cream during this time. Every McDonalds I have been to during the late night menu hours, they all offered ice cream in their menu. Normally I do order other items when coming late, but tonight we happened to be right next to this particular McDonalds and felt like having ice cream. So we went and took our place in the Drive Thru line and waited…and waited… over 20+ minutes later it was finally our turn to order and McDonalds was now roughly 18 cars deep lined up all the way to the main street. We finally were able to order and when we tried ordering an ice cream cone, the guy working the drive thru took the wind right out of our sails. “We don’t serve ice cream right now”. I couldn’t help it we had waited 20-30 minutes just to find out that this particular McDonalds does not serve ice cream at this hour. I replied, “seriously dude. You can’t make this known to people waiting in line forever before they end up waiting for no reason at all?” So I have a suggestion and I’m sure it will never come to life. But maybe it might be nice to your customers to maybe put out a sign that says, we do not serve ice cream at this time. Or you could have a sign like Krispy Kreme and have a neon sign in the window letting people know when ice cream is and isn’t being served. Just like KK does with their fresh donuts. When donuts are fresh, the sign is lit and when they don’t have a fresh batch out then the sign stays off. You could do the same thing but have it where the sign is lit when you are not serving ice cream and have the sign off when it’s game on and you can order ice cream. Just a thought. But I’m not going to hold my breath on that one. Nor will I ever see the restaurant give their customers a heads up before waiting in line forever for...
