Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Blooming Prairie

We have been to this location for years, but in the last couple months we have learned that we have to check our food before we leave the drive-thru because something is wrong. Well tonight we decided to go and they had a new girl working the drive-thru and she was not understanding our order. We ordered a 6-piece chicken strip basket with ranch instead of gravy and a 4-piece sauced and tossed chicken strip basket which came with gravy. I was then charged for the ranch which I never was before and we were charged for the barbeque sauce that came on the sauced and tossed basket as a separate sauce. When we brought this to the new girls attention she stated that because we were getting the ranch that we were being charged for it, but that we were then not going to get the gravy that originally came with the basket. I then ask why we're getting charged for the barbeque sauce and she just shrugs her shoulders and tells me that there is a new owner. Frustrated at this point I ask for her manager who she does get and tell him the situation and he says "we have a new girl working the drive-thru and quite frankly she does not know what she is doing" which I found very unprofessional of him to say about one of his employees. Eventually we get a refund for the ranch and for the sauce and can leave. But because of this fiasco we didn't think to check to see if we got all of our food. We do not live in town, so when we are halfway home my boyfriend asks if we got all of our food and lo and behold we got 2 four piece meals when I was charged for a 6-piece and a 4-piece. This is very frustrating because the whole experience was terrible and unprofessional and now I feel as though I have been robbed because I paid for food and did not...

The serivce is extremely horrible yet I go since there are no other options in town.. I put up with it. Very slow service literally not exaggerating you can be the only one there and wait 15min for food. Lots if teenagers work there and are constantly on their phones. Wearing very little inappropriate non-work attire. Almost all of them have attitudes especially the manager. He is racists and always treats me differently. As much as I go there I'm surprised he treats me the way he does. Whenever I pull up to the window he says "oh, its you" what is that supposed to mean?! He is very rude but hey if you don't want my money I can go elsewhere. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Don't even get me started on the appearance. Completely outdated and not maintained. Their entire staff needs training on customer service interactions and need to re-learn...

Really liking the new changes to the menu & available options at shockingly good prices! Friendly, PATIENT, professional staff! Orders have been correct here recently at this location, which is a huge improvement. I used to have to check before driving away because something was always wrong with our order. The food tastes so much better here lately and has very fresh vegetables, and a decent amount too. I've also noticed the cups, sandwich boxes, kid's meal bags, etc. are nicer and seem to be higher quality now! Overall, I am really liking this location...
