I don't actively seek to talk bad about any business, but you know I am about to. I love Casey's. Mostly all of the places in Illinois are great, but the one on Fox Creek Road is by far the worst Casey's. Here are some of my experiences:
I saw the manager leave the store while a brand new employee was the only cashier and had no idea how to use the cash register. He was sweating bullets and pushing buttons like nobody's business.
I asked for tomato to put on my sandwich and the employee grabbed it off of a dirty rack and the refrigerator without washing it, then tried to cut it with a dirty knife and didn't really care that the slices were about an inch thick LOL.
There are always four employees standing behind the cash register but only one cash register open. There's one girl with the neck tattoos, African-American, that knows what she's doing! Everyone else is pretty useless.
There is usually only one cook in the kitchen running like the devil trying to cook 93 pizzas while the other employees chill.
I could go on, I normally stop there because I prefer Casey's food to other gas station food on the way to one of my work sites, but I'm Banning this place due to whatever general manager was hired on accident and given lordship over this awful gas station. I advise that they fire everyone except for the aforementioned cashier. I don't know her name. Who raised these people? Zero work ethic, they're not even trying to pretend that they're doing...
Read moreThe employees are friendly and engaging. Prices are what you would expect from a gas station with some groceries. This isn't a place you will find coming off the interstate unless you know it's there and the station is located near a residential area with a 45mph speed limit so sometimes there are accidents here. I only give them four stars because of issues we've had with ordering pizza for carry out. First incident, they didn't get the order we placed online. They gave us some free stuff because we had to wait for them to make the pizzas when we went to pick them up. The second and third incident are with oderering their taco pizza. Now, know that we love Casey's Pizza but would suggest not ordering taco pizza from this store. Twice in the past 6 months, the pizza maker failed to put all of the toppings on the pizza. First time, they ONLY put the sausage on it. Second time, they failed to put the chips on top. First time we called them and they gave us a voucher for a free pizza. Second time, we didn't call and just decided not to order taco pizza from them. If you order pizza on a busy pizza night, make sure it is correct before...

I wish your distributors would do a better job. The most popular products are often out of stock. I understand this is not the store's fault as I worked that job before. The company who stocks their alcohol doesn't even understand that you have to leave way more products when they're sold out EVERY TIME THEY GO THERE.
Called ahead of time and the person told me the section with the wraps and sandwiches is completely empty for the third day in a row. This place will not properly stock products.
Last time I ordered a breakfast pizza we all got sick. Do not buy anything from the kitchen as every pizza is undercooked. It's mostly raw dough. When you buy a pizza here you must finish cooking it at home.
This location used to be decent. I assume they're not paying employees enough so they don't care...
